Tamper resistant device for an integrated circuit card
A tamper resistant device can be used for an integrated circuit card. The device includes memory storing a first security domain that includes a telecommunication profile and a second security domain that includes an application profile. A first physical interface is configured to be coupled to a baseband processor configured to operate with a mobile telecommunications network. A second physical interface configured to be coupled to an application processor. The first physical interface configured to allow the baseband processor to access the telecommunication profile and the second physical interface is configured to allow the application processor to access the application profile. The tamper resistant device is configured to enable accessibility to the application profile if corresponding commands are received at the first interface and to enable accessibility to the telecommunication profile if corresponding commands are received at the second interface.
Smartglasses-to-smartglasses payment systems
Methods for smartglasses-to-smartglasses payment systems is provided. Methods include receiving a transfer of funds initiation at a first smartglasses. The transfer of funds initiation may include an identifier, an amount and a personal identification number (“PIN”). Methods include transmitting the transfer of funds initiation from the first smartglasses to a second smartglasses. Methods may include receiving a notification on the second smartglasses. The notification may include a first smartglasses telephone number and the transfer of funds initiation. Methods may include transmitting a transfer of funds request from the second smartglasses to an entity. The transfer of funds request may include the first smartglasses telephone number, the transfer of funds initiation and the second smartglasses telephone number. Methods may include retrieving a first account and a second account from the entity. Methods may include transferring funds from the first account to the second account.
Method and System for Automated Application of Fuel Discounts from Carriers to Contracted Drivers
Receiving, at a server, an identifier from a user to authorize fuel payment at a fuel station. Associating the identifier with a carrier, the carrier being entitled to a fuel discount at the fuel station. Authorizing the fuel station to provide fuel to the user with the fuel discount, which may be variable. The identifier may be received from a mobile application, a company credit card, a personal credit card, a virtual credit card, and/or an onboard electronic logging device (ELD). The authorizing of the fuel station to provide fuel to the user with the fuel discount may be limited by an amount and/or a type of fuel. A system is provided that includes a receiver module, and a server, and a transmitter module. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program for operating a fuel discount sharing application is provided.
System and method employing virtual ledger
A system, method and computer program product for open innovation including an asset valuation device receiving asset information about tangible or non-tangible assets, and generating a valuation signal, based on the asset information; a self-executing code device receiving the valuation signal, and generating a self-executing code signal, based on the valuation signal; an air router device having both a low band radio channel, and an internet router channel for redundant internet communications, and a malicious code removal device for scrubbing malicious code from data received, receiving the valuation signal, and generating a node voting request signal, based on the valuation signal; and a mesh network having a plurality of node devices receiving the node voting request signal, and generating vote confirmation signals, based on the node voting request signal. Computing devices are connected to the node devices to perform problem solving, smart contract processing, and/or cryptocurrency mining.
INTELLIGENT AUTHENTICATION
Systems and methods for intelligently authenticating payment transactions are disclosed. A user initiates a payment transaction to purchases goods or services from a merchant. The merchant sends a payment initiation request to a server computer in communication with a payment processing network and an issuer. The server computer queries various databases to determine one or more available communication channels that may be used as authentication channels by the issuer. The server computer also determines one or more communication channels, available for use by a mobile device of the user, that may be used as authentication channels to authenticate the payment transaction. The user is provided with a list of available/eligible authentication channels. User selects one of the authentication channels and the issuer is notified of the selection. The issuer uses the selected authentication channel to communicate with the user and authenticate the payment transaction.
SMART DATA CABLE FOR POINT OF SALE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments are described herein that relate to network-connected data cables (i.e., “smart” data cables) that are connected to a merchant's point of sale system and a receipt printer. When a transaction is initiated at the point of sale system, transaction data is created by the point of sale system and passed to the smart data cable for transmission downstream to the receipt printer. The smart data cable can parse the transaction data, copy certain elements from the transaction data, and transmit the copied elements to a cloud-based platform that processes the transaction. For example, the cloud-based platform may compare the copied elements to information supplied by the customer through a messaging application executing on the customer's user device. The information may be provided by the customer to a chat bot that is supported by the cloud-based platform.
PRE-AUTHENTICATION OF MOBILE PAYMENTS
An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and system for transaction authentication. The embodiment may include receiving, by a mobile device from a network server via a wireless access point using a medium-range wireless communication protocol, an indication corresponding to a transaction to execute. The embodiment may include displaying a graphical interface element having an indication of approval to initiate the transaction to execute from a user based on receiving the indication. The embodiment may include authorizing the transaction to execute for a period of time based on receiving the indication of approval to initiate the transaction to execute. The embodiment may include detecting within the period of time, from a point of sale device using a short-range wireless communication protocol, a mobile payment method associated with the transaction to execute. The embodiment may include initiating the transaction based on detecting the mobile payment method.
INTEGRATION OF TRANSACTION STATUS INDICATIONS
Facilitating transaction status indications for point-of-sale (POS) systems is described. A POS application stored on a POS terminal of a POS system may communicate with a payment reader device coupled to the POS terminal and a payment server application. The POS application may receive, from a customer device associated with a customer and via a short-range communication network, payment information for satisfying a cost of a transaction. The POS application may send the payment information to the payment server application to attempt to authorize the payment information for the cost of the transaction and may receive, from the payment server application, an indication of a status of the transaction. Responsive to receiving the indication of the status of the transaction, the payment reader device and the customer device may output respective aspects of a transaction status indication associated with the status of the transaction.
AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE ("ATM") WITH FORENSIC CARD READER IDENTIFICATION VALIDATION
An ATM equipped with forensic card reader identification validation is provided. The ATM may include a real ID card slot. The real ID card slot may accept real ID cards. The ATM may include a call communications module. The call communications module may communicate with a third-party network. Upon insertion of a real ID card at the ATM, the ATM may retrieve security details from the real ID card. The ATM may transmit the security details to the third-party network via the call communications module. The third-party network may verify the security details with one or more databases which are accessible by the third-party network. Upon failure to verify the security details, the third-party network may transmit a failed verification response to the ATM.
Decentralized systems and methods for transferring information between subsystems of communication networks
Systems and methods which utilize one or more social networking systems when creating, funding, and/or notifying a party of a transaction are provided. In accordance with one aspect, a money transfer transaction may be staged by a user whereupon a link corresponding to the staged transaction may be posted to one or more social networking services in order to allow for multiple users to access and fund the staged transaction. Additionally, in some aspects a user of a social networking service may generate a comment or post which then automatically triggers the staging of a money transfer transaction. Moreover, social networking services may be utilized to provide various notifications regarding money transfer transactions.
