Printer for selectively printing symbolic information on a medium
In some implementations, a printing system may include a card printer that includes a printing controller and a marking device. The card printer may be configured to receive a first printing instruction or a second printing instruction associated with printing an account identifier on a card. The card printer may receive one of the first printing instruction or the second printing instruction based on whether a risk score, associated with the account identifier, satisfies a threshold. The card printer may print a full account identifier, associated with the card, on a surface of the card based on receiving the first printing instruction. The card printer may print the card without the full account identifier on the surface of the card based on receiving the second printing instruction.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD
The present technology relates to information processing system and method, and information processing device and method for realizing a system capable of increasing efficiency while reducing load concentration. Each of the information processing system and method and the information processing device and method according to an aspect of the present technology belongs to one or more center servers. One or more gate controllers different from each other are allocated. Acquired is user data that relates to data about a user corresponding to identification data, and is supplied on the basis of prediction data corresponding to the identification data. Acquired is the identification data that is read from a storage device storing the identification data, and is supplied from the gate controller allocated to the corresponding system, method or device. The acquired user data that corresponds to the acquired identification data is processed. For example, the present technology is applicable to an information processing device or an information processing system.
DYNAMIC MODIFICATION OF A VERIFICATION METHOD ASSOCIATED WITH A TRANSACTION CARD
A device may determine that a verification method associated with a transaction card is to be modified from a first verification method to a second verification method. The first verification method and the second verification method may use different types of verification information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the transaction card after determining that the verification method is to be modified. The set of instructions may cause the transaction card to modify the verification method from the first verification method to the second verification method. The device may provide information identifying a modification to the verification method to a transaction backend device to notify the transaction backend device that the verification method associated with the transaction card has been modified from the first verification method to the second verification method.
Secure account creation
In one embodiment, a payment service system-implemented method of assigning payment card numbers for individual user accounts associated with the payment service system includes receiving a request, in the context of an authorization for a payment transaction, to assign a payment card number to a user account associated with a user of the payment service system. The method includes retrieving, from a database associated with the payment service system, an account record associated with the user account. The method includes determining that the user account is not associated with an active payment card number. The method includes identifying an unassigned payment card number and modifying the account record to assign the unassigned payment card number to the user account as an active payment card number. The method includes authorizing the payment transaction using the active payment card number, causing a modification to an account balance of the user account.
Card-personalization system
A personalized card may be generated using a card-personalization system accessible via multiple access points on a network. In some aspects, the personalized card may include a physical card having an image selected by a user in a card-personalization process. The user may be assigned a code that may both authenticate the user to access the card-personalization system and identify a position of the user in the card-personalization process. The card-personalization process may include a selection process for selecting an image, an approval process for approving the image, and a creation process for generating the personalized card including the image.
In-store card activation
A user having an account with a payment provider receives an unregistered payment card that is associated with the payment provider, and that includes a magnetic strip encoded with a number unique to the card and a machine readable code such as a QR/barcode embossed thereon. The user may then open an application on the user's mobile device to capture the number associated with the card by, for example, scanning the QR/barcode, capturing an image of the number, speaking the number into the device, or manually entering the number into the user's device. The user may also authenticate with the payment provider by entering login credentials. The user may then confirm a request to link the number of the card with the user's payment provider account, which activates and links the card to the user account so that the user can immediately use the card for purchases.
MEDICAL TEST RESULTS AND IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method that enables users to provide authenticated medical records (e.g., vaccination records, viral anti-body test results, etc.) to a third-party (e.g., a venue) to gain access to the third-party is provided. In this way, the third party may confirm that the user is sufficiently immune to a particular disease (e.g., COVID-19) and may thereby minimize the threat of the user introducing the contagious disease to the third party. The system includes a biometric data recognition system that authenticates the identity of a user, a medical records acquisition system that acquires the medical records of the authenticated user, and a system for the displaying or otherwise providing the medical records to the third-party for review. The system also includes a system identification card that includes the user's contact information, alphanumeric characters associated with the user's driver's license number, medical records of the user, and other elements.
System, Device and Method for Executing a Digital Wallet Application
The system comprises a user electronic device (200). A processor of the device (200) executes a digital wallet application associated with at least one digitised transaction card. The device (200) obtains user preference information in relation to the digital wallet application (S604); communicates the user preference information to a management server (300, S605); receives, from the management server (300), a notification command for the digital wallet application (S614). The notification command is determined according to the user preference information, and determines the audible and/or haptic feedback to be provided in relation to the digitised transaction card. The user electronic device (200) controls an audio and/or haptic output unit of the device to provide, when the digital wallet application is executed, audible and/or haptic feedback according to the notification command in response to the digitised transaction card being selected and/or used for a transaction.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A VIRTUAL CARD
Provided are systems and methods of issuing an electronic payment card. The method includes receiving, from a terminal device, a request for a new electronic payment card configured to facilitate an electronic payment in an electronic payment system, obtaining a new primary account number (PAN) for the electronic payment card, creating the new electronic payment card and associating the new electronic payment card with the PAN, obtaining a security code corresponding to the PAN for the new electronic payment card, transmitting, to the terminal device, a virtual card corresponding to the new electronic payment card, the virtual card having the PAN and the security code of the new electronic payment card.
