AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR STEREOSCOPIC PROJECTION AND CROSS-REFERENCING OF LIVE X-RAY FLUOROSCOPIC AND COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHIC C-ARM IMAGING DURING SURGERY
A method for performing a procedure on a patient includes acquiring a three-dimensional image of a location of interest on the patient and a two-dimensional image of the location of interest can be acquired. A computer system can relate the three-dimensional image with the two-dimensional image to form a holographic image dataset. The computer system can register the holographic image dataset with the patient. The augmented reality system can render a hologram based on the holographic image dataset from the patient. The hologram can include a projection of the three-dimensional image and a projection of the two-dimensional image. The practitioner can view the hologram with the augmented reality system and perform the procedure on the patient. The practitioner can employ the augmented reality system to visualize a point on the projection of the three-dimensional image and a corresponding point on the projection of the two-dimensional image during the procedure.
REGISTRATION CHAINING WITH INFORMATION TRANSFER
A registration chaining system provides information transfer along a chain of registrations of images of same or different modalities. A registration at each link is based on a shared feature readily distinguished in a pair of images. The information is transferred using the registration.
SELF-SUPERVISED LEARNING FRAMEWORK TO GENERATE CONTEXT SPECIFIC PRETRAINED MODELS
Systems and methods for self-supervised representation learning as a means to generate context-specific pretrained models include selecting data from a set of available data sets; selecting a pretext task from domain specific pretext tasks; selecting a target problem specific network architecture based on a user selection from available choices or any customized model as per user preference; and generating a pretrained model for the selected network architecture using the selected data obtained from the set of available data sets and a pretext task as obtained from domain specific pretext tasks.
Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and method for controlling ultrasound diagnostic apparatus
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus 1 includes an image acquisition unit 8 that transmits an ultrasound beam from an ultrasound probe 18 to a subject to acquire an ultrasound image, an optic nerve recognition unit 9 that performs image analysis on the ultrasound image acquired by the image acquisition unit 8 to recognize an optic nerve of the subject, an optic nerve evaluation unit 10 that evaluates a shape of the optic nerve of the subject recognized by the optic nerve recognition unit 9 on the basis of an anatomical structure, and an operation guide unit 12 that guides a user to operate the ultrasound probe 18 so as to acquire an ultrasound image for measurement of the optic nerve of the subject on the basis of an evaluation result obtained by the optic nerve evaluation unit 10.
Ultrasonic image construction method, apparatus and signal-processing method
This invention provides a signal-processing method that makes it possible to acquire, relatively easily and surely, a highly reliable normalized impulse-response signal without relying on the signal-correction processing after normalization. The signal-processing method of this invention includes a low-frequency extraction step, a high-frequency extraction step and a synthesizing step. In the low-frequency extraction step, only the low-frequency component is extracted from the spectrum of the first normalized signal NS1 obtained by normalizing the target signal S.sub.tgt in the time domain. In the high-frequency extraction step, only the high-frequency component is extracted from the spectrum of the second normalized signal NS2 obtained by normalizing the target signal S.sub.tgt in the frequency domain using the reference signal S.sub.ref. In the synthesizing step, the low-frequency component, derived from the first normalized signal NS1, and the high-frequency component, derived from the second normalized signal NS2, are synthesized to obtain a normalized impulse-response signal NS.
Automated clinical documentation system and method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for proactive encounter scanning is executed on a computing device and includes obtaining encounter information of a patient encounter. The encounter information is proactively processed to determine if the encounter information is indicative of one or more medical conditions and to generate one or more result set. The one or more result sets are provided to the user.
Predictive use of quantitative imaging
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for predicting a disease state of a subject using ultrasound imaging and ancillary information to the ultrasound imaging. At least two quantitative measurements of a subject, including at least one measurement taken using ultrasound imaging, as part of quantified information can be identified. One of the quantitative measurements can be compared to a first predetermined standard, included as part of ancillary information to the quantified information, in order to identify a first initial value. Further, another of the quantitative measurements can be compared to a second predetermined standard, included as part of the ancillary information, in order to identify a second initial value. Subsequently, the quantitative information can be correlated with the ancillary information using the first initial value and the second initial value to determine a final value that is predictive of a disease state of the subject.
Intraluminal imaging devices with multiple center frequencies
Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) imaging devices, systems, and method are provided. In one embodiment, an IVUS imaging device includes a flexible elongate member configured to be positioned within a lumen of a patient, the flexible elongate member comprising a proximal portion and a distal portion; and an imaging assembly disposed at the distal portion of the flexible elongate member. The imaging assembly includes a first ultrasound transducer operating at a first center frequency; and a second ultrasound transducer operating at a second center frequency different from the first center frequency.
Apparatus and method for inspecting droplet
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for quickly and accurately inspecting a droplet on a substrate. An apparatus for inspecting a droplet on a substrate according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an ultrasonic sensor configured to apply an ultrasonic wave to a droplet on the substrate and detect an ultrasonic wave reflected from the substrate; and a processor configured to acquire a height of the droplet at each position on the substrate on the basis of a signal of the ultrasonic wave reflected from the droplet on the substrate, calculate a volume of the droplet on the basis of the heights of the droplet at the positions, and store or output data in relation to the volume of the droplet. The embodiment of the present disclosure may calculate the volume of the droplet using the ultrasonic wave, thereby quickly and accurately inspecting the droplet on the substrate.
System and method for predictive fusion
An image fusion system provides a predicted alignment between images of different modalities and synchronization of the alignment, once acquired. A spatial tracker detects and tracks a position and orientation of an imaging device within an environment. A predicted pose of an anatomical feature can be determined, based on previously acquired image data, with respect to a desired position and orientation of the imaging device. When the imaging device is moved into the desired position and orientation, a relationship is established between the pose of the anatomical feature in the image data and the pose of the anatomical feature imaged by the imaging device. Based on tracking information provided by the spatial tracker, the relationship is maintained even when the imaging device moves to various positions during a procedure.
