Method and system for preventing a physical layer relay attack
There is provided a method and a system for authorizing a user device to send a request to a vehicle in order to prevent a physical layer relay attack. The system comprises a vehicle comprising an acoustic transducer and an RF transceiver and a user device comprising an acoustic transducer and an RF transceiver. The method relates to a signaling scheme using a combination of acoustic and RF signals for preventing a successful physical layer relay attack.
Secured delivery container
A secure delivery container can have a body with a chamber that can receive one or more items for delivery to an end recipient and a door actuatable to close the chamber in a locked position and open to allow access to the items. The container can have a heat transfer system with one or more heat transfer elements in thermal communication with one or more surfaces of the body that define the chamber and configured to heat or cool the one or more surfaces to heat or cool the delivery items in the chamber. The container can wirelessly communicate with a remote electronic device to receive information from the remote electronic device and to communicate operational information from the one or more heat transfer elements to the remote electronic device.

SAFETY SYSTEMS FOR OBJECTS AND METHODS
A safety system for an object having a transmitter that comprises a microcontroller to generate an identification signal having a given frequency and a resonant circuit to amplify the signal. The transmitter is suitable to be placed in the vicinity of the body of a person to capacitively couple the identification signal to it. The safety system also comprises a receiver suitable to be capacitively coupled to the body in order to receive the first identification signal and to recognize based on the identification signal if a user is an authorized user. The safety system estimates the actual resonant frequency of the resonant circuit when the circuit is amplifying the signal and the microcontroller is adapted to choose as frequency for the identification signal the closest frequency to the estimated actual resonant circuit it can generate so that the amplification of the identification signal is maximized.
Computer vision to enable services
This application describes techniques for providing computer vision for manual services. In some instances, a remote system may determine that a current time is within a threshold period of time of a scheduled service and, based on the determination, send a first message requesting image data to a camera apparatus located within an environment. After sending the first message, the remote system may receive image data associated with the environment from the camera apparatus and use the image to detect an object within the environment. The remote system can then send a second message to a device of a guest and a third message to a device of a user, where each of the second message and the third message indicates that the object is within the environment. In some instances, the object can include an animal while in some instances, the object can include a person.
CONTROL METHOD FOR PREVENTING ACCIDENTAL TRIGGERING OF REMOTE CONTROL KEY OF AUTOMOBILE, AND AUTOMOBILE
The invention pertains to the technical field of automobiles, and particularly provides a control method for preventing accidental triggering of a remote control key of an automobile, and an automobile. The invention is to solve the problem of a corresponding function being triggered due to an accidental press on an existing remote control key of an automobile. To this end, the remote control key of the automobile according to the invention includes a remote control button, where the control method includes: receiving a press signal from the remote control button; determining the number of press signals; and selectively enabling a function of a remote control instruction of the automobile based on the number of press signals. The invention does not rely on a hardware design, but uses a software-based strategy to prevent a corresponding function of a remote control instruction from being enabled when an accidental press on the remote control key button of the automobile is caused by a styling design of the automobile key, etc. This lowers a requirement on a hardware structural design of the remote control key, so that the styling design of the remote control key is more flexible.
Access control and location tracking system
A system for providing controlled access and tracking location of an individual within a restricted area includes access cards, access control devices, location tracking devices, a gateway device, and a server. The access card includes identification data which facilitates the access control devices to provide physical access to the individual into the restricted area. The access cards also transmit beacon signals to facilitate the access control devices and the location tracking devices to track location of the individual within the restricted area. The gateway device is connected to the access control devices and the location tracking devices. The server is connected to the gateway device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND USER TERMINAL
An information processing device includes a processor. The processor detects start of a first application program in a user terminal. The first application program is used to perform a remote operation of a vehicle. The processor is configured to transmit, when the start is detected, an instruction signal to a communication terminal of the vehicle. The instruction signal causes one or more electronic control units mounted on the vehicle to transition from a sleep state to an activated state.
Systems and methods for personnel accountability and tracking during public safety incidents
Systems and methods for managing an incident event by a public safety and security organization. The methods comprise: performing Near Field Communication (“NFC”) or Radio Frequency Identification (“RFID”) operations by a Land Mobile Radio (“LMR”) and a field computing device to check-in a field personnel member into an incident event; communicating check-in information to a remote computing device from the field computing device via a packet switched LMR infrastructure or a public network; and using the check-in information by the remote computing device to facilitate management of the incident event by the by public safety and security organization.
Distribution device, key information sharing system, method of controlling distribution device, and recording medium
A server comprises circuitry configured to distribute key information to a first portable terminal. The key information includes information indicating whether locking and unlocking of a vehicle, making the vehicle travel, and using a content providing device that provides digital contents in a vehicle cabin are permitted. The key information further includes restricted function information indicating that locking and unlocking of the vehicle and use of the content providing device are permitted but traveling of the vehicle is not permitted. The key information further includes deliverable information making the key information deliverable to another terminal. The deliverable information is excluded from the key information when the key information is sent from the first portable terminal to a second portable terminal.
