Keyless access for commercial vehicles
A commercial vehicle used for parcel delivery is installed with a control module. The control module communicates wirelessly with a transmitter to give control to the vehicle operator. The vehicle operator can access the vehicle's cargo compartment through the bulkhead door and/or the rear door solely by using the transmitter as opposed to manually actuating the door latch. A door actuator is added to the bulkhead door such that when the bulkhead door is wirelessly actuated the door opens without operator assistance, and the process of the door opening does not damage the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle operator can initiate the control module to allow a push-button start and stop of the vehicle's ignition system. Such elements contribute to time savings and cost savings for parcel delivery operators.
Method and System for Isolation Management and or Access Control
A system of isolation management comprises a computer for generating an isolation plan; a lockbox configured to receive the isolation plan from the computer; a mobile device associated with an individual, and one or more locks for isolation locking of an asset by each individual according to the isolation plan. The mobile device is allocated to the lockbox according to the isolation plan. The lockbox is configured to recognise the mobile device when proximal to the lockbox. The one or more isolation locks are removably housed in the lockbox. The one or more isolation locks are each able to be recognised by the mobile device and the mobile device is configured to record an association of one or more of the isolation locks to the mobile device according to the isolation plan. There is also an isolation point for isolating the asset with the one or more isolation locks according to the isolation plan. The isolation point is able to be recognised by the mobile device.
Systems and methods for controlling access to a secured space
Systems and methods for controlling access to a secured space are disclosed. The system includes a locking device having a body having a rotatable locking cam having a locked paddle and an unlocked paddle. The cam is rotatable between a first position and a second position. The body also has a locking pin and a power supply for supplying electrical power to circuit components of the locking device. The locking device also includes a shackle having two arms. One of the two arms has a groove in a bottom portion thereof configured to engage with the locking pin when the shackle is in a closed position. In the first position, the locked paddle of the rotatable locking cam engages the locking pin in the groove. In the second position, the locked paddle of the rotatable locking cam is disengaged from the locking pin.
MOBILE KEY ENROLLMENT AND USE
A computer system performs techniques related to enrolling and using a secure credential. In some embodiments, a computer system provides user interfaces for enrolling a secure credential on the computer system. In some embodiments, a computer system provides user interfaces for inviting a user account to use a secure credential.
System of Issuing a Wireless Key for Reservation
A system of issuing a wireless key for reservation has a reservation website providing a reservation voucher to the user immediately when the booking is completed, and a hotel server receiving and verifying the reservation voucher through an access point set in the hotel when the user enters a sensing range of the access point, and issuing an electronic key and a detecting software after the reservation voucher is verified. Then one of the electronic locks of the rooms can be unlock and upgrade by detecting the electronic key and the detecting software.
Sensing bed step for vehicle
A method of activating a vehicle function is provided. The method includes detecting a force exerted onto a bed step of a vehicle using a pressure sensor. A controller detects whether the amount of force exerted onto the bed step is greater than a force threshold. When the force exertion force exceeds the force threshold, one of a plurality of pressure patterns is detected. One of a plurality of vehicle functions is then activated based on the detected pressure pattern.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACCESSING PROTECTED VEHICLE ACTIVITY DATA
Systems and methods for accessing protected activity data of a vehicle. A system may include a vehicle key and a user key. The vehicle key may be configured to be managed by a manufacturer of the vehicle. The user key may be configured to be managed by a user of the vehicle. The vehicle key and the user key may decrypt the vehicle activity data when used together. The system may include a third-party key configured to be managed by a third-party and decrypt the vehicle activity data. The vehicle key and the user key may modify the vehicle activity data when used together. Alternatively, the vehicle key, the user key, and the third-party key may modify the vehicle activity data when used together.
USER AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
The present disclosure relates to a user authentication method for construction equipment, capable of preventing theft of construction equipment. The user authentication method for construction equipment according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a user authentication method for construction equipment includes: a user information registration step for registering a user identification information provided from a user device; a digital key issuance step for, upon request for use of the construction equipment from the user device, generating a digital key corresponding to the construction equipment and transmitting the generated digital key to the user device; and an equipment authentication step for allowing the use of the construction equipment when the user device having receive the digital key completes authentication of the identification information through the digital key.
DEVICE CONTROL METHODS AND SYSTEMS
The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and system for controlling a device. The device control method includes: determining one or more sets, wherein the one or more sets include one or more preset rules each of which corresponds to a set of the one or more sets; including a first device into a first set of the one or more sets based on information of the first device; and controlling the first device in the first set to perform a corresponding operation according to a preset rule corresponding to the first set.
USE OF A PAYMENT CARD TO UNLOCK A LOCK
Exemplary embodiments may provide keys for unlocking access to a location, like a user room, a secure location, a door at an employee location, a trunk, a closet or other locked location or item, on a payment card. Examples of a payment card include but are not limited to a credit card, a debit card, a smart card, an employee identification card, etc. A secure token that acts as digital key may be uploaded to the payment card. The payment card may then be put in close proximity of a wireless reader at the lock. The wireless reader obtains the secure token and extracts the contents. If the contents are proper, the lock is unlocked. Otherwise, the lock remains locked.
