METHOD AND VEHICLE DOOR LOCK SYSTEM FOR MANAGING ACCESS TO THE VEHICLE
A vehicle door lock system includes: a door lock; a vehicle event sensor; and a processing circuitry, the processing circuitry is configured to cause the vehicle door lock system to generate first triggering event data, indicative of a first triggering event detected by the vehicle event sensor, caused by a movement of an object onto, or in the vicinity of, the vehicle, at a first time, obtain, from a portable electronic device, second triggering event data, indicative of a second triggering event caused by a movement of the portable electronic device, at a second time, determine if the first triggering event and the second triggering event both occurs within a predetermined time period by comparing the first triggering event data and the second triggering event data.
Knock detection device and household appliance including the same
A knock detection device includes a proximity sensor, at least one sound sensor, and a signal processing unit. The proximity sensor and the sound sensor are respectively electrically connected to the signal processing unit. The signal processing unit receives and/or processes the signal of the sound sensor according to the signal of the proximity sensor. A household appliance includes the knock detection device. The knock detection device is disposed inside the household appliance on the back side of a panel provided for knocking by a user.
Wireless electronic lockset user validation using comparative gesture processing
Methods and systems for validating intent to actuate an electronic lock are provided, using comparative gesture processing. One method includes obtaining motion signals representative of physical motion of the mobile device detected by a motion sensor of the mobile device and at an electronic lock. The method includes performing a similarity correlation between the first motion signals and the second motion signals, and, based on the similarity correlation determining that the first motion signals and second motion signals are correlated. Based on the correlation and authentication, the wireless electronic lockset is actuated.
Information processing apparatus, information processing mei'hod, and program
Provided is an information processing apparatus including: a locking control unit configured to execute a first process of processes for causing a locking unit to unlock, on the basis of detection of access of a first communication terminal; and a detection unit configured to detect an unlocking request by a user of the first communication terminal. The locking control unit executes a second process of the processes for causing the locking unit to unlock, when the unlocking request is detected and the first process is completed.
Systems and methods for windows as a microphone keypad entry
Disclosed is a system that uses a window as a microphone as a replacement for keyless entry to a vehicle. The system includes a window which acts as a microphone using a piezoelectric transducer that captures resonance on an outside surface of the vehicle window when pressure waves (e.g., voice commands or taps) impact it. To recognize this sound, a transducer controller amplifies vibrations from the window tap or spoken commands. The system may include a low-power mode that listens for input while the vehicle is off. In a second, high-power mode, the system may detect a tapping event, which may prompt a transition to a wake-up state. The system may associate a number and timing of taps with unique user keys, similar to key selections of numbers on a keypad. The system may also recognize verbal PIN code input using the piezoelectric transducer microphone.
Wireless locking device
An electronic locking device can be configured to become active from a low power state, receive physical input to unlock, and provide access to a replaceable power supply. An electronic locking device can use a combination of physical input and discovery of an authorized mobile device to enable transition from a locked state to an unlocked state. Authorization can be internally stored or externally obtained through a service. An electronic locking device can match a series of physical interactions to a series of stored interactions to enable transition from a locked state to an unlocked state, when an authorized device is unavailable. An electronic locking device can provide access to a replaceable power supply when a latch is released.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided is an information processing apparatus including: a locking control unit configured to execute a first process of processes for causing a locking unit to unlock, on the basis of detection of access of a first communication terminal; and a detection unit configured to detect an unlocking request by a user of the first communication terminal. The locking control unit executes a second process of the processes for causing the locking unit to unlock, when the unlocking request is detected and the first process is completed.
Access control device for delivering coded knocks
This disclosure provides a device for delivering coded data in the form of knocks, comprising an electric motor capable of bi-directional rotation, a control utility to command the motor to alternately rotate in two opposite directions; a knocking element coupled to the motor such so as to be rotated thereby; and an anvil element positioned so as to being successively impacted by the knocking element in each of the two rotational directions.
Storing events of a sensor device
It is provided a sensor device comprising: a proximity sensor; a processor; a wireless communication module; and a memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the sensor device to: receive a user input signal; determine when the received user input signal matches a signal template being associated with an event; store in the memory a record indicating an occurrence of the event associated with the user input signal; and transmit, once the wireless communication module is active, any stored records.
