Computer-implemented method for customising interactivity
The present disclosure relates to a method for providing interactivity between an electronic system and a first user visiting a facility such as, for example, an amusement park. The first user is identified and provided with a first input mobile element. The first input mobile element interacts with input fixed elements. The interaction results in a feedback that is provided, through output means to the first user or his first input mobile element. The feedback is preferably determined according to the history of the first user.
Multi-activity venue automation
A venue automation environment is disclosed in which various forms of automation and user integration can be managed across one or more activities at one or more venues. Venue automation and integration can include automation at various stages of participant engagement including before, during, and after visiting one or more venues and participating in one or more activities at a venue. Venue automation and integration can include automated itinerary generation, activity reservation, participant identification, access control, payment managing, scoring, media capture (e.g., audio, photo, and video), and venue management.
System and method for monitoring queue characteristics and initiating adjustments
A queue control system controls a queue structure of a queue in an amusement park. The queue control system includes a controller and a queue structure control associated with the queue structure. The controller receives, from an input device that monitors a queue characteristic of the queue, data feedback indicative of the queue characteristic. The queue characteristic is indicative of a queue length, queue wait time, queue rate, or queue throughput. The controller also outputs a control command based on the data feedback. The queue structure control receives the control command and changes at least one aspect of the queue structure based on the control command.
Methods of estimating a throughput of a resource, a length of a queue associated with the resource and/or a wait time of the queue
Aspects of the disclosure describe estimating a throughput of a resource within a venue. A server may determine an operating throughput of the resource. The server may receive event schedule data identifying a plurality of scheduled times corresponding to a plurality of events occurring at one or more of the resource and nearby points of interest, which may cause a throughput of the resource to deviate from the operating throughput of the resource. The server may estimate the throughput of the resource based on the operating throughput and the event schedule data. Based on the estimated throughput, the server may perform one or more actions.
Queue monitoring techniques
A queue monitoring system includes at least one sensor configured to monitor guests admitted from an entrance and generate a sensor signal. The system also includes a virtual queue controller comprising a processor and communications circuitry, wherein the virtual queue controller is configured to: communicate guest admittance information to an operator device, the guest admittance information causing the operator device to display a target number of guests to be admitted during a time interval; determine a count of guests admitted from the entrance during the time interval based on the sensor signal; determine a remaining number representative of remaining guests to be admitted based on the target number and the count of guests admitted from the entrance; and communicate a standby admit signal to the operator device to cause the operator device to display the remaining number.
Virtual queue system and method
A system in accordance with present embodiments includes a plurality of wearable devices and a virtual queue control system configured to maintain respective virtual queues for respective attractions and in communication with the plurality of virtual queuing attraction stations. The virtual queue control system is configured to receive communications from the plurality of virtual queuing stations and add guests to the respective virtual queues based on the communications.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, system, and storage medium to determine staying time of a person in predetermined region
An information processing apparatus associates a registration image with first clock time at which a person of the registration image has passed through a gate in a first direction with use of tracking, performs matching, based an image containing a person who is tracked starting with a state of being situated inside a predetermined region and the registration image, to determine whether the person and a person of the registration image are an identical person, determines whether a person who is tracked has passed through the gate in a second direction, associates a person determined as an identical person by matching with second clock time at which the person has passed through the gate in the second direction with use of tracking, and derives a time during which the person has stayed in the predetermined region, based on the first clock time and the second clock time.
