Locking device with multiple authentication devices
A locking device with a bolt movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking device includes an electronic controller for selectively controlling movement of the bolt between the locked and unlocked position. At least two input devices are provided, such as a keypad, a biometric input, etc., which communicate an authentication code to the controller. The controller controls movement of the bolt based on a valid authentication code received from any of the at least two input devices.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING TECHNOLOGY
An access management and reporting system includes a keysafe that is located outside of a building and a communication system that is located within the building. The communication system is configured to perform, over a short-range wireless communication protocol, two-way communication with a communication module of the keysafe. The system also includes a server that is located remote from the building and the keysafe. The server is configured to perform, over a long-range communication protocol, two-way communication with the communication system located within the building, is configured to manage access to the keysafe, and is configured to handle reporting related to access of the keysafe.
Lotte lockbox and parcel management system
A lockbox and parcel management system is implemented in which a lockbox having multiple compartments is controllable via an access device that locks and unlocks respective compartments upon receiving a proper access code input. A user may place an order with an e-commerce service using an e-commerce application or website. The e-commerce service, upon receiving the order, may transmit order information to a lockbox remote service which can communicate with a user device associated with the user who placed the order, the access device for the lockbox, and a deliverer's device from the delivery company. The lockbox remote service or authorized user/owner may set access codes for the deliverer to open and place a parcel in a lockbox's compartment for safe and secure storage until the user arrives home.
Detection and handling of home owner moving by a home monitoring system
Techniques are described for determining that a property is vacant based on monitoring data collected by connected sensors and appliances near or within the property. In response to determining that a property is vacant, the condition of the vacant property can be monitored for various risks such as fire safety and security breaches. Monitoring techniques may also be used to determine when a new customer (e.g., a new tenant or property owner) has moved into the property. In response to detecting a move-in, one or more notifications may be transmitted to assist the new customer to customize a security system associated with the property. In this regard, techniques described herein may be used by service providers to improve the transition associated with move-in and move-out processes, which may also improve retention of monitoring services.
Smart lock and method for automatically locking smart lock
The present disclosure provides a smart door lock and a method for controlling the smart door lock. The method may be implemented on a computing apparatus including a processor and a storage device. The method may include obtaining user information and determining whether the user information passes a verification. The method may further include in response to a determination that the user information passes the verification, controlling the smart door lock to perform an unlock operation. The method may further include determining whether the door on which the smart door lock is installed has a preset action within a preset time period and in response to a determination that the door has the preset action within the preset time period, controlling at least one component of the smart door lock to perform at least one operation.
TOUCHSCREEN FOR ELECTRONIC LOCKS
Systems and methods are disclosed for a lock assembly having a touchscreen. The lock assembly includes an interior assembly and an exterior assembly having an exterior lock housing and a touchscreen assembly. The touchscreen assembly includes a touchscreen having selectable icons on a front surface thereof, a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), and a support structure. The PCBA includes input regions corresponding to the selectable icons and light emitters. The support structure is configured to reflect light emitted from the light emitters through the front surface of the touchscreen.
Secure authorization via a dynamic interface on a visitor device
A keyless access system for securely authorizing access to a resource via a dynamic interface that user equipment (“UE”) may access using a changing access identifier without the UE installing or executing any specialized applications or code. The secure authorization of visitor access may include periodically modifying the access identifier, providing access activation data with a first access identifier to a UE in response to a triggering action, providing the dynamic interface to the UE in response to the access activation data automatically directing a browser of the UE to the first access identifier, receiving UE authorization data that is entered using a keypad or login screen of the dynamic interface, and providing access to the resource based on the first access identifier being associated with the resource, the UE authorization data authorizing access to the resource, and the access being provided before an expiration time.
LOCKER APPARATUS, ASSOCIATED METHOD AND ASSOCIATED COMPUTER PROGRAM
A locker apparatus, method and computer program are provided. The locker apparatus comprises: a plurality of lockers, wherein each locker is for storing a hand portable electronic device, and wherein each locker comprises a receiver configured to receive signals from a hand portable electronic device and comprises a locking mechanism for locking and unlocking the locker; user input circuitry configured to receive inputs from a user; a transmitter; at least one processor; and memory storing at least one computer program having computer program instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause at least the following to be performed: in response to input being received at the user input circuitry identifying a user, identifying a hand portable electronic device for the user; causing the transmitter to a transmit a signal to the hand portable electronic device to cause the hand portable electronic device to output a signal for opening a locker; and if the signal output by the hand portable electronic device is received by one of the receivers, causing the locking mechanism of the locker comprising the receiver that received the signal output by the hand portable electronic device to unlock the locker.
Secure transport container
An apparatus includes a controller configured to initiate attachment of a first locking bar of a transport container to a first anchor point of a structure by adjusting the first locking bar from a first unlocked state to a first locked state. The controller is also configured to confirm a locking of the first locking bar to the first anchor point. The controller is further configured to, in response to confirming the locking, initiate a release of a second locking bar of the transport container from a second anchor point by adjusting the second locking bar from a second locked state to a second unlocked state.
Artificial intelligence storage and tracking system for emergency departments and trauma centers
An inventory tracking and management system includes storage devices comprising carts, cabinets, or shelves, sensors and/or monitoring devices associated with the storage devices, a central database connecting the storage devices, sensors, and monitoring devices within a hospital, and a processing server associated with the central database.
