Connected car as a payment device
Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
System and methods for access control
A system for controlling access to a secure room containing a plurality of safety deposit boxes, comprises a motion detector, a biometric sensor, and a plurality of contact sensors, wherein each of the safety deposit boxes is associated with at least two contact sensors. The system includes a processor that is configured to unlock the gate when a plurality of access conditions are satisfied, which may include: collecting via the biometric sensor a biometric sensor a biometric credential that matches a reference biometric credential in a user database; and determining the secure room is unoccupied based on at least a predetermined period of no motion detected by the at least one motion sensor. The processor may also be configured to generate a box-accessed event identifying one of the safety deposit boxes when all of the contact sensors associated with that safety deposit box are simultaneously opened.
Scheme for setting/using electronic device as keyless device of vehicle and adjusting devices in the vehicle
A portable electronic device to be used as a keyless device of a vehicle includes a controlling circuit which includes a physiological feature detection module and a processing circuit. The physiological feature detection module is used for detecting a physiological feature of a person. The processing circuit is coupled to the physiological feature detection module and used for determining whether the person is an authorized user of the vehicle according to the detected physiological feature of the person, and for opening a car door of the vehicle or starting the vehicle when the person is identified by the processing circuit as the authorized user.
HUMAN-MACHINE INTERFACE DEVICE FOR BUILDING SYSTEMS
A human-machine interface device can be arranged on a building. The device can include a communication device, a recording device, an optical projection module and a control device. The communication device sends and receives data signals via a communication network, and the recording device records data relating to a user. The control device is configured to transmit user data recorded by the recording device to a control system of a building system and to control the optical projection module based on routing information. The optical projection module is configured to project routing information relating to the user and visible to the user onto a projection surface.
INTELLIGENT PREVENTION PASSAGE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to an intelligent prevention passage control system for an electronic device, which comprises a detection device for an electronic device, a traffic control device integrated with the detection device for the electronic device, an industrial control host, a server, an access controller and a management terminal inside the traffic control device, The present disclosure can more accurately judge violations by scoring violations, and can make the system more intelligent by accurately judging violations, thus realizing no manual attendance, solving the problems of personnel recruitment, shift attendance and personnel management, and saving a lot of labor cost. At the same time, the system can avoid the hidden dangers caused by human feelings. sense of responsibility and inertia brought b manual prevention, and ensure the consistent, accurate and reliable standards of detection work.
VEHICLE CONFIGURED TO BE PROVIDED WITH OCCUPANT-DEPENDENT SETTING, AND VEHICLE SETTING SYSTEM
A vehicle setting system includes an occupant data acquisition processor, a server apparatus including a provisional generation processor, a provisional acquisition processor, and a setting processor. The occupant data acquisition processor acquires or estimates physical data regarding an occupant on board the vehicle, at least in a case with absence of a setting value for the occupant held in a vehicle memory of a vehicle. The provisional generation processor acquires the physical data regarding the occupant, and generates a provisional setting value for the relevant occupant. The provisional acquisition processor acquires the provisional setting value. The setting processor records, in a vehicle memory of the vehicle, the provisional setting value as the setting value for the occupant, and provides the vehicle with setting of the provisional setting value.
Access control systems, devices, and methods therefor
An access control system includes a verification computing system that stores access rights information and credential proxies received from user devices, receives from a local access control subsystem an input credential and input credential proxy derived therefrom and received from a present user, identifies the access rights information associated with the user according to the input credential proxy and the stored credential proxy, requests and receives a stored credential from the user device of the present user, and compares the stored credential to the input credential to authorize the present user. The access rights information is for each of the users to access spaces with the local access control subsystems. The stored credential proxies are derived from stored credential received by the user devices using an algorithm. The input credential proxies are derived from the input credentials using the algorithm.
Fully-automated self-divesting screening system and method
Various embodiments of the present invention are directed toward systems and methods relating to security screening. For example, a screening system includes a chamber configured to accommodate a user to be screened, and a chamber scanner. The chamber scanner is configured to scan the user to identify whether the user is carrying an undivested item that needs to be divested. The chamber is configured to release the user to proceed from the chamber to a secure area, upon confirmation that no undivested items are to be divested.
Automatic switching for frictionless access control
Example aspects include a method, an apparatus and a computer-readable medium of operating an access control system, comprising detecting a person at an access control area. The aspects further include determining whether the person is wearing a mask. Additionally, the aspects further include switching, in response to determining that the person is wearing the mask, the access control system into a frictionless mode. Additionally, the aspects further include obtaining, according to the frictionless mode, identification information of the person via touchless interaction between the person and the access control system. Additionally, the aspects further include identifying the person according to the identification information of the person.
