UNIVERSAL CASSETTE FOR RECIRCULATION OF BILLS IN MULTIPLE SYSTEMS
A cassette for receiving and dispensing bills is disclosed. The cassette includes a sensor structured to detect a location of the cassette, and memory having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to transmit the location of the cassette to a remote computing device, determine that the location of the cassette has changed, and generate an indication that the location of the cassette has changed.
Sheet processing system, sheet processing method, and decision apparatus
A sheet processing system, comprising a storage device that stores one or more sheets, and control circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to count a number of sheets stored in the storage device; determine whether the storage device is full based on a storage state of the storage device; in a case that the storage device is determined to be full, decide a set value relating to an upper limit number of the sheets storable in the storage device by using a plurality of count results from the control circuitry; and set the set value for the storage device.

COIN DEPOSIT PROCESSOR
A currency deposit processor transfers currencies set in a deposit part one by one, discriminates the currencies by denominations, stores the currencies in denominations in a storage part without temporarily holding the currencies, and confirms the deposited currencies for each transaction. A control unit is provided that, when one storage part reaches its maximum capacity with both currencies confirmed up to a previous deposit transaction and currencies unconfirmed in a current deposit transaction and a failure occurs after the filling-up currencies are removed, performs a special control, in which data on the currencies unconfirmed in the current deposit transaction and included in the filling-up currencies is calculated as a partial confirmation, and the data on the currencies calculated as the partial confirmation is added and reflected at a time of another deposit transaction after a fault recovery process.
Systems and methods for a night drop system
Systems and methods relating to a lockbox bank for currency drop-offs are provided. A lockbox bank includes one or more lockboxes, a safe coupled to the one or more lockboxes, and a terminal of a lockbox computing system. Each lockbox includes a receptacle configured to receive a currency drop-off and a locking mechanism. The terminal includes a network interface, a display device, one or more input/output devices, and a processing circuit including a processor and a memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to receive a request from the customer to use a lockbox for a currency drop-off, receive access credentials, verify the access credentials, in response to successful verification, grant the customer access to a lockbox, and in response to determining that the drop-off has been completed, move the drop-off from the receptacle to the safe.
Cloud-based cash inventory management for on-premises cash handling devices
Various embodiments are directed to systems and methods for remotely monitoring cash reserves within a plurality of cash handling devices, and for automatically initiating change orders to maintain optimal levels of cash reserves within those cash handling devices. Certain embodiments remotely monitor closing transaction data received from those cash handling devices. Based at least in part on portions of data reflected within the closing transaction data, retrieve historical usage data relating to a forecast period; generate a usage forecast for the forecast period, and based on the generated usage forecast and the closing transaction data, generate message data for transmission to external systems to facilitate the maintenance of optimal cash reserves within those cash handling devices.

Intelligent cash handling
Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.

Mixed denomination cash cassette currency counter
A system includes a cassette structured to manage a plurality of bills, a first sensor structured to provide denomination information, a bill storage component, and a picker system structured to traverse the bill storage component. The system also includes memory having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to determine the denomination of the plurality of bills, generate a bill list, receive a transaction request indicating a specific denomination for dispensing, identify a storage position of a target bill from the bill list, and cause the picker system to traverse the bill storage component to the storage position of the target bill to retrieve the target bill for dispensing.
