A sales tray for hotel rooms that include a top panel with ten rows of holes when each row has ten holes, a base on which the top panel is assembled, four sensors that detect whether an object is placed over them, nine demarcators that enable the user to demarcate around each sensor a quadrangular area in a size that correspond with a packaging of a specific product, and to demarcate separately around each of said sensors four quadrangular areas in different sizes that correspond with packaging of four different products. The user can associate these four different products with packaging in different sizes to the four rectangular areas, and to associate each sensor to a particular product, by that enabling the user to monitor at the same time a removal of each product.

CONTROLLED INVENTORY REFRIGERATED DISPENSING SYSTEM

A refrigerated dispensing system is provided including an outer refrigerator cabinet and an interior, removable chassis that mounts a plurality of separately removable product storage and dispensing cartridges and a separately removable open-front product storage box. While the storage-box and individual cartridges are removably positionable within slots on one or more shelves inside of the chassis, the entire chassis (with storage box and cartridges positioned thereon) may be removed from the outer refrigerator cabinet. The open-front storage box is provided RFID product tracking for monitoring inventory of products stored within the storage box.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING GRAB-AND-GO TRANSACTIONS IN A CASHIERLESS STORE
20210342805 · 2021-11-04 ·

A method and system for detecting a commercial transaction through physical interactions with items, the method comprising receiving data from a plurality of sensory modules associated with one or more shelves within a container, the plurality of sensory modules including a static cameras module, a weight sensors module, and a video cameras module, wherein the data includes physical activities corresponding to items on the smart shelves in a given session. The method further comprises resolving the data from the sensory modules using probabilistic reasoning and machine learning, determining a new container state after the given session based on the resolved data, and determining a final commercial transaction based on the new container state.

Touchless Modular Containment System
20220092905 · 2022-03-24 ·

A touchless modular containment system for delivering one or more articles to a person includes a modular frame that defines a plurality of discrete cubbies. Each cubby has a front door that is coupled to the modular frame and includes a sliding drawer assembly for controllably delivering the one or more articles to the person. The sliding drawer assembly has a base tray that is secured to the modular frame. The sliding drawer assembly has a movable traveler assembly that defines a top surface of the sliding drawer assembly and moves between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position. A front of the traveler assembly is positioned relative to and adjacent the front door such that forward driving of the traveler assembly toward the fully extended position opens the front door by the traveler assembly urging the front door open without any interaction between the person and the front door.

Headgear storage device and method of distribution

Apparatuses for storage and distribution of headgear having sensors and a gel distribution apparatus can be configured to permit storage of the headgear while also protecting the gel distribution modules of the headgear from being inadvertently actuated for deployment of gel to avoid unintended gel leaks or gel applications. In some embodiments, the storage apparatus can be sized and configured to fit within a vending machine for providing remote distribution of the headgear while also protecting the headgear from damage during falls that can occur when the vending machine is activated to distribute a headgear to a customer. Methods of distributing the headgear can utilize an embodiment of the storage device and/or use of at least one vending machine or a network of vending machines.

Item dispenser with motion-based removal detection

This disclosure describes, in part, systems for tracking the removal of shopping bags or other items from a dispenser. Folded shopping bags are stacked in a holder so that a front shopping bag can be removed by pulling it along an axis that is parallel to the length and/or width dimension of the shopping bag. A motion sensor is positioned to sense movement of the front shopping bag as it is removed. Control logic monitors and/or analyzes data or other signals from the motion sensor and determines whether movement of at least a threshold distance has occurred. If movement of at least the threshold distance has occurred, the control logic concludes that a shopping bag has been removed and generates a corresponding event notice. Other system components may respond to the event notice by applying a charge for the removed shopping bag or by performing other actions.
