A system, method, and gaming machine dynamically increases a number of paylines in a reel-based wagering game is provided. The system, method, and gaming machine provides a gaming device having a game display configured to display at least a portion of game reels of the reel-based wagering game, a controller programed to display, on the game display, a plurality of game reels and a multiplier reel, wherein the controller dynamically increases the number of paylines per stop on the game reels on a given spin of the game reels by the multiplier reel.
Electronic gaming machine and method for providing an award based upon a prize category and a prize sub-category
An electronic gaming machine includes a processor configured to control a display device to display a plurality of columns of symbol positions, where each column of symbol positions includes a plurality of symbols selected from an associated reel strip of a plurality of reel strips. The processor is also configured to select the symbols for each column, and control the display device to simulate stopping the first reel strip prior to controlling the display device to simulate stopping the second reel strip, whereby a sub-category of prize associated with a prize sub-category symbol is indicated to a player of the electronic gaming machine prior to indicating a category of prize associated with a prize category symbol. The processor is also configured to determine whether a first column includes the prize sub-category symbol as well as whether a second column includes the prize category symbol. If the prize sub-category and prize category symbols are included, the processor is also configured to provide an award.
Gaming device with variable symbol replacement
A gaming device having a processor that selects symbols from a first set of reel strips for a plurality of columns of symbol positions, and from a second set of reel strips for a plurality of columns of symbol positions, and controls a display to display the symbols selected including displaying, at each symbol position for which a defined symbol is selected, the defined symbol with the symbol selected at a respective symbol position. Upon the symbols selected including a qualifier symbol, the processor randomly selects one of at least two different symbol replacements, and determines, using the symbol replacements, a replacement symbol for the defined symbol selected. The processor updates the plurality of symbols to incorporate the replacement symbol, and evaluates the updated plurality of symbols for winning symbol combinations.

The present invention involves live gaming tables where players make one or more wagers on the outcome of a game played according to a predetermined set of rules. A game is provided that may include a plurality of reels, each of the reels comprising a plurality of symbol positions; a plurality of symbols, at least one of the plurality of symbols positioned in least one of the plurality of symbol positions; at least one processor for executing instructions stored in a memory to play a slot machine game comprising the steps: accepting a wager; receiving an instruction to initiate play of the game; determining a game outcome including a stopping point of the plurality of reels; displaying a portion of the plurality of reels in a play matrix; issuing a first award if the play matrix comprises a winning symbol combination; and accumulating a player element total based on gameplay, the player element total transferrable to a second game.
GAMING SYSTEM, GAMING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A CASCADING SYMBOLS GAME HAVING MAGNETIC SYMBOLS AND TARGET SYMBOLS
A gaming system displays one of a plurality of symbols in each of a plurality of symbol positions, at least one of the plurality of symbols being a target symbol for establishing a direction of shifting and at least one of the plurality of symbols being a magnetic symbol for shifting toward a target symbol. If any generated magnetic symbol is associated with a generated target symbol, the gaming system shifts that magnetic symbol toward the associated target symbol, resulting in an empty symbol position. The gaming system fills the empty symbol position by shifting a displayed symbol or by generating one of the plurality symbols and repeats until no magnetic symbol is associated with a target symbol. The gaming system provides an award for any displayed winning symbol combination. The gaming system removes symbols from each winning combination, fills the empty symbol positions, and repeats as above.

System and method for cashless exchange at table games
A system includes a smart table that defines a plurality of player positions and that includes a plurality of wireless sensors. Each wireless sensor is associated with a respective player position of the plurality of player positions. The system is configured to determine, using a wireless sensor of the plurality of wireless sensors, that the mobile computing device is located proximate a wireless sensor of the plurality of wireless sensors. The system is further configured to control the wireless sensor to establish a wireless connection between the wireless sensor and the mobile computing device, and receive, from the mobile computing device, via the wireless connection, a player identifier. In addition, the system is configured to determine the respective player position associated with the wireless sensor, in response to determining the respective player position and based on the player identifier, associate the player with the respective player position within a table management database.

When completed, an award is determined based according to values associated with less than all of the bonus symbols displayed in a bonus outcome array.
