11581010 · 2023-02-14 · ·

Techniques and systems are described for generating and using a sound localization model. A described technique includes obtaining for a building a sound sensor map indicating locations of first and second sound sensor devices in respective first and second rooms of the building; causing an autonomous device to navigate to the first room and to emit, during a time window, sound patterns at one or more frequencies within the first room; receiving sound data including first and second sound data respectively from the first and second sound sensor devices that are observed during the time window; and generating and storing a sound localization model based on the sound sensor map, autonomous device location information, and the received sound data, the model being configured to compensate for how sounds travels among rooms in at least a portion of the building such that an origin room of a sound source is identifiable.

Provided is a method of protecting private information from illegal photography by an unmanned aerial vehicle, which includes receiving information about an area to capture, from the unmanned aerial vehicle or an unmanned aerial vehicle pilot, in advance, by wired or wireless communication, transmitting the information about an area to capture, to a private information protection subject who wants to protect private information about the area to capture, by wired or wireless communication, receiving information about a first action to protect private information accompanying image capturing, from the private information protection subject, by wired or wireless communication, and transmitting the information about a first action to protect private information, the information being received from the private information protection subject, to the unmanned aerial vehicle or the unmanned aerial vehicle pilot who is going to capture an image, by wired or wireless communication.

ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
20230042956 · 2023-02-09 · ·

An access management system includes a mobile device with a processor and a memory and a software platform including at least a processor and a memory. The software platform is configured to analyze data obtained from the mobile device and other devices connected to the software platform. Specifically, the software platform is operable to determine if an access key received, read, or captured by a mobile device matches an access key for an authorized account, object, device, or space for the mobile device, and to provide access to the mobile device if the access key received, read, or captured by the mobile device matches the authorized access key.

Autonomous home security devices

An aerial vehicle is programmed or configured to respond to reports of events or conditions within spaces of a facility. The aerial vehicle travels to a location of a reported event or condition and captures data using onboard sensors. The aerial vehicle independently determines whether the reported event or condition is occurring, or is otherwise properly addressed by resources that are available at the location, using images or other data captured by the onboard sensors. Alternatively, the aerial vehicle transmits a request for additional resources to be provided at the location, where necessary. A map of the location generated based on images or other data captured by the onboard sensors may be utilized for any purpose, such as to make one or more recommendations of products that are appropriate for use at the facility.

DRONE PRE-SURVEILLANCE
20230005256 · 2023-01-05 ·

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for using a drone to pre-surveil a portion of a property. In one aspect, a system may include a monitoring unit. The monitoring unit may include a network interface, a processor, and a storage device that includes instructions to cause the processor to perform operations. The operations may include obtaining data that is indicative of one or more acts of an occupant of the property, applying the obtained data that is indicative of one or more acts of the occupant of the property to a pre-surveillance rule, determining that the pre-surveillance rule is satisfied, determining a drone navigation path that is associated with the pre-surveillance rule, transmitting, to a drone, an instruction to perform pre-surveillance of the portion of the one or more properties using the drone navigation path.

Systems and methods for geofence security

Systems and methods for geofence information delivery are disclosed. A multiplicity of devices constructed and configured in network communication in a region of interest via a peer-to-peer network. The multiplicity of devices store cached geofence information for the region of interest. The multiplicity of devices on the peer-to-peer network are operable to convert between an IP address and a geographic location. Each of the multiplicity of devices is operable to query peer devices on the peer-to-peer network for geofences associated with an IP address or a geographic location. At least one peer device is operable to deliver one or more geofences associated with the IP address to the querying device via zero-configuration networking or web service.

Methods and systems for operating a moving platform to determine data associated with a target person or object
11703863 · 2023-07-18 ·

Methods and systems for operating a moving platform to locate a known target at an area associated with the target are disclosed. In an example method to locate the target at the area, a first moving platform, configured with a first type of sensor, is caused to move to the area. An attempt is made to locate, via the first moving platform and the first type of sensor, the target at the area. Based on the attempt, a second moving platform, configured with a second type of sensor, is caused to move to the area. The target is located via the second moving platform and the second type of sensor.
