Dazzling system coupled to a camera mounted in a fixed location
A non-lethal dazzling turret includes a laser operable in the visible spectrum. The non-lethal dazzling turret can be deployed, for example, behind a counter at a convenience store or a gas station, and can include a camera as well as an on-board computer. The non-lethal dazzling turret can stream video to a remote location where an operator can aim and fire the non-lethal dazzling turret at potential targets as needed. Alternatively, a fully autonomous version is disclosed that can be activated by, for example, a panic button.
Smart Home System and Method Having Plural User Interface Modes
A smart home system such a smart security system includes at least one controlled module capable of performing monitoring and/or control functions, and a controller that is in communication with the controlled module and a user device such as a smart phone or computer tablet. The system is operable to configure the user device with a first set of user interfaces and control functionalities in response to selection of a first operating mode, and to configure the user device with a second set of user interfaces and control functionalities in response to selection of a second operating mode. The first mode may be a master-controller mode in which the user device's graphics are displayed in portrait orientation, and the second mode may be a panel mode in which the user device's graphics are displayed in landscape orientation.
Information processing device and method for controlling image data thereof
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information processing device that realizes more suitable ease of use. To accomplish the purpose, there is provided an information processing device provided with a video input unit for acquiring image data from an optical image, a signal receiver unit for acquiring a position computation signal, a communication unit for transmitting the image data, a first memory unit for storing position information pertaining to a place to which the image data is not transmitted, and a control unit for controlling the execution of image data transmission on the basis of the position information acquired from the position calculation signal and the position information stored in the first storage unit.
POWER OUTLET CAMERAS
A security system can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include an outwardly facing portion configured to face away from the power outlet and an inwardly facing portion having a first electrical prong and a second electrical prong that protrude into the power outlet to mount the security system to the power outlet. The security system can also include a detection system comprising a camera and a motion detector.
CONTEXTUAL POLICY-BASED COMPUTER VISION CONTROL
A tool for providing contextual policy-based computer vision control. The tool identifies one or more camera devices in an environment. The tool determines a plurality of vision areas in a field of view within the environment. The tool determines one or more contextual policies for the plurality of vision areas in the field of view. The tool determines one or more vision augmentations for the plurality of vision areas based, at least in part, on an aggregate computer vision capability of the one or more camera devices in the environment and the one or more contextual policies for the plurality of vision areas in the field of view. The tool applies the one or more vision augmentations to at least one of the one or more camera devices in the environment.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Doorbells often include a button to enable visitors to ring a chime to summon building occupants. In some embodiments, doorbells include a camera to take pictures of visitors. In several embodiments, doorbells include covers that are light filters. These light filters can cover infrared light sources such as infrared light emitting diodes. The light filters can pass infrared light while blocking visible light. In several embodiments, a front portion of a camera assembly fits through a hole in a light filter. Light filters can help secure camera assemblies and can form a portion of a doorbell's outer housing.
Image Processing System for Extending a Range for Image Analytics
The present application describes a system and method for extending a range of an image detection and classification system that is associated with various image capture devices. The range of the image detection and classification system is extended using one or more of an optical zoom on an area of interest, a digital zoom on the area of interest and a crop operation on the area of interest.
MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, MANAGEMENT METHOD, MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, COMPUTER PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A management apparatus manages a target facility to which an optically readable optical information indicating a facility identification information is added. The management apparatus includes: a detection unit that detects the optical information from a first image obtained by imaging the target facility; a determination unit that determines an extraction condition for extracting an extraction image including at least a part of the target facility, on the basis of the first image; and an association unit that associates the facility identification information indicated by the optical information with the determined extraction condition.
SURVEILLANCE DEVICE, SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM, AND SURVEILLANCE METHOD
A surveillance device of the present disclosure includes an image analysis server that generates an alarm when detecting an alarm generation target that has entered an intrusion detection area, based on a camera image captured by a camera. The image analysis server acquires the camera image (basic image) to set a fixed object area (basic area) corresponding to a fixed object included in the basic image, acquires a camera image (live image) to extract a fixed object area (reference area) corresponding to a fixed object included in the live image, calculates a deviation amount of an angle of view based on a result of a comparison in standard position between the basic area and the reference area, and generates a surveillance screen including an adjustment screen for guidance on an operation for cancelling the deviation amount of the angle of view to display the surveillance screen.
Mobile surveillance apparatus, program, and control method
Provided is a technique for enhancing operability of a mobile apparatus. An information processing apparatus (2000) includes a first processing unit (2020), a second processing unit (2040), and a control unit (2060). The first processing unit (2020) generates information indicating an event detection position in accordance with a position on a surveillance image set in a first operation. The first operation is an operation with respect to the surveillance image displayed on a display screen. The second processing unit (2040) performs a display change process with respect to the surveillance image or a window including the surveillance image. The control unit (2060) causes any one of the first processing unit (2020) and the second processing unit (2040) to process the first operation on the basis of a second operation.
