Emergency automated gunshot lockdown system (EAGL)
The Emergency Automatic Gunshot Lockdown (EAGL) System detects gunshots and executes at least one predetermined adaptive response action, such as notifying law enforcement of an active shooter, providing access control measures such as locking down soft target areas, and alerting building occupants of an active shooter situation. A gunshot is detected and verified using a triple validation system. Once a firearm is discharged, the EAGL system sends “real time” data to building officials, law enforcement, and building occupants notifying them of an active shooter situation. Simultaneously, predetermined commands are sent to access control devices for perimeter, office, classroom, and other soft target areas to lockdown and stay secure, to keep the shooter from entering these soft target areas, and to prevent shooter from entering other buildings.
Personal Proximity Warning Device
A personal proximity warning device for warning a user of a rear approach of a person includes a housing that is removably attachable to an item worn by the user. A camera and a sensor attached to the housing capture an image of and sense motion within an area proximate to the user. A battery, a transceiver, and a microprocessor are positioned in the housing. The microprocessor selectively actuates the camera and the transceiver to capture and transmit the image of the area, respectively, and actuates the transceiver to transmit an alert. Programming code, which is selectively positionable on an electronic device of the user, enables the electronic device to receive the alert and the image, to override audio to earbuds being worn by the user, and to broadcast the alert to the user via the earbuds.
Building lockdown system
A lockdown system for use in a building including multiple rooms with doors providing access to the rooms, the lockdown system including: at least one room lockdown component provided in each of a plurality of the rooms, the room lockdown components comprising door-securing devices that are external of the doors and, in a deployed condition of the room lockdown components, are manually positioned inside said rooms to oppose inward movement of the doors and thereby block or secure the doors, the room lockdown components further characterized by a non-deployed condition in which the door-securing devices are positioned at storage locations inside the rooms, and wherein further each room lockdown component is operative to automatically signal initiation of a lockdown event when its door-securing device has been moved from its storage location; and at least one communication device operative to receive the signaled initiation of a lockdown event when any one or more of the door-securing devices have been moved from their storage locations, and to provide an alert notification of the initiation of the lockdown event.
System and method for detecting potentially dangerous human posture
The invention refers to the field of processing and analyzing video data received from video surveillance cameras, and more specifically, to technologies aimed at detecting a human in a frame and at analyzing their posture for subsequent detection of potentially dangerous situations by video data. The system for detecting potentially dangerous situations contains video cameras, a memory, a graphical user interface (GUI), and a data processing device. Data processing device is configured to receive real-time video data, analyze the received video data, obtain horizontal lines for each of the set corrective vertical lines, split the frame into zones, construct the leg vector based on a pair of the lower limbs key points and determine their belonging to one of the resulting zones, construct a back vector, determine the lower limbs tilt angle between the resulting back vector and the leg vector, determine the human's posture, and detect a potentially dangerous situation, if the human's posture is one of the postures indicating a potentially dangerous situation.
Home security response using biometric and environmental observations
Various arrangements for handling a potential security situation using a home automation system are presented. A biometric measurement of a user may be received. An alert from a home automation device in wireless communication with the home automation host system may be received. If the biometric measurement is associated with the alert, a security response action may be performed.
DANGER DETECTION SYSTEM
A danger detection system is provided. The system includes a user computing device programmed to receive from a microphone of the computing device a signal indicating a gunshot-like sound and automatically determine if the gunshot-like sound is a gunshot. The user computing device is also programmed to automatically determine a location of the gunshot; and to automatically generate and send to a display of the user computing device a safety notification in response to determining if the gunshot is within a predetermined distance.
Mobile Phone Accessory
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a mobile accessory device that includes a housing having a collapsible grip and defining an attachment surface that is configured to adhere to, attach to, or engage with another surface, a user input apparatus arranged at least partly within the housing and configured to activate in response to input by a user, and a controller arranged at least partly within the housing and configured to activate in response to activation of the user input apparatus and trigger one or more predetermined functions including causing a mobile device to perform one or more predetermined mobile device functions.
ENHANCED AUDIOVISUAL ANALYTICS
A monitoring system that is configured to monitor a property includes a camera that is configured to capture video data of the property. The monitoring system further includes a microphone that is configured to capture audio data of the property. The monitoring system further includes a monitor control unit that is configured to access and analyze the video data. The monitor control unit is further configured to determine that an alarm condition does not exist at the property. The monitor control unit is further configured to access and analyze the audio data. The monitor control unit is further configured to override the determination that an alarm condition does not exist at the property. The monitor control unit is further configured to, based on overriding the determination that an alarm condition does not exist at the property, perform a monitoring system action.
Digital real security system, method and program
A digital real security system, method and program reliably report the occurrence of an emergency situation in real time. The digital real security system comprises an abdominal pressure signal acquisition unit (101) that acquires an abdominal pressure signal from an abdominal pressure sensor (10) for detecting a user's abdominal pressure and acquires a respiration signal from a respiration sensor (20) for detecting the user's breathing, and a storage unit (105) that stores a normal-time number of breathing times and abdominal pressure pattern of the user detected by the abdominal pressure signal acquisition unit (101), and an abnormality determination unit (112) matches a number of breathing times and abdominal pressure pattern detected by the abdominal pressure signal acquisition unit (101) to that user's normal-time number of breathing times and abdominal pressure pattern stored in the storage unit (105), and determines whether it is abnormality based on the match result.
