MECHANISM TO CREATE PATTERN GESTURE TRANSMISSIONS TO CREATE DEVICE-SOURCING EMERGENCY INFORMATION
A system may comprise a registration device configured to register patterns for users; a recording device configured to record a received pattern, as an electronic pattern, wherein the recording device recognizes the received pattern as one of the registered patterns; a receiving device configured to observe human movement patterns with a camera, transform the observed human movement patterns to an electronic signal, and receive the recognized registered pattern from the recording device by a first wireless transmission; a forwarding device configured to transmit the electronic signal, and the received recognized registered pattern to an alert service by a second wireless transmission; and an alert service, configured to receive the electronic signal and the received recognized registered pattern from the forwarding device and configured to transmit the electronic signal and the received recognized registered pattern to a second electronic device by a third wireless transmission.
SMART HOME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR GENERATING AUGMENTED REALITY SCENE OF POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS CONDITION
Systems and methods are described for identifying, using a sensor, a location of an object in an environment, and determining a classification of the object. A human may be identified in proximity with the object, an identity of the human may be determined, and a determination may be made that a hazardous condition may occur, based on a combination of the location of the object, the classification of the object, and the identity of the human in proximity with the object. In response to determining that the hazardous condition may occur, an augmented reality scene associated with the potentially hazardous condition associated with the object may be generated for presentation, at a user device.
System and method for making a recommendation for a user of a life management system
A life management system receives data from a client device worn by a user, the data comprising biotelemetry data and activity data collected about a user wearing the client device. The life management system generates snapshot information using information from a group consisting of: the biotelemetry data, activity data, social data associated with the user, and user profile information associated with the user. The life management system generates a recommendation using portions of the snapshot information, and updates the snapshot information with the recommendation. The life management system executes a recommendation associated with the snapshot information in accordance with the user controls associated with the user.
Device with integrated health, safety, and security functions
A device with integrated functions related to health, safety, and security is provided. The device may include a memory, a battery, a cellular radio, a global positioning sensor (GPS), and an accelerometer. The device may further include a touch screen for displaying at least health, safety, and security related information and for detecting touch events, where the touch screen is configurable to be in a locked state and an unlocked state. Instructions, stored in the memory, may cause the device to detect, using at least the accelerometer, whether a wearer of the device has fallen and communicate information concerning detection of the fall to instructions, stored in the memory, where the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the device to determine whether the fall is an emergency event, and perform other functions. The device may be implemented as a smart phone or a smart watch.
Personal safety device
A protective device and a method of transmitting an alert from the device, in which the protective device is handheld and includes a flexible sheath disposed between an upper member and a lower member. When the device is compressed, elongated defensive components protrude through openings in the upper member. In some cases, the upper member also includes protruding portions extending upward from the upper member and/or an arm portion extending outward to a side of the device. A signal alert may be automatically transmitted upon device compression.
Native-feature silent coercion alarm
Apparatus and methods for providing protection from economic exploitation. The apparatus and methods may include a platform for tagging a social security number and/or other suitable identification number. The system may allow a person associated with a social security number to automatically flag and deny any product or service request associated with the social security number. The alarms are “silent,” because the alarm may initiate an institution internal process in which the customer interaction with the institution follows a normal diligence process until an intervention can be effectively executed on behalf of the customer. This reduces the likelihood of a reaction from the customer's associate prior to completing the diligence process. A system may provide the customer with an opportunity to electronically activate an alarm by typing keystrokes on a card reader keypad or interacting with a physical sensor on the reader, on the card, or the like.
Systems and methods for identifying and activating emergency response assets
Described herein are systems, devices, methods, and media for activating emergency response assets in response to emergency alerts.
Personal Security System and Method
A personal safety system comprising: a personal electronic device carried by an individual having one or more sensors for recording visual and/or audio data associated with the individual; at least one external service nominated by the individual to be in electronic communication with the personal electronic device to receive and store the recorded visual and/or audio data from the personal electronic device in real time for monitoring purposes; and wherein, the visual and/or audio data is continuously recorded in discrete predetermined intervals by the personal electronic device and at the completion of each discrete predetermined interval the visual and/or audio data for that discrete predetermined interval is transmitted to the external service together with data capturing the time and location of the individual, and following transmission of the visual and/or audio data, the data is deleted from the personal electronic device.
Emergency Communication System
An emergency communication system, while accurately and reliably detecting a location of an object person, receives contact from the object person and grasps a state of the object person when a matter of emergency has occurred. An object person terminal transmits identification information via short-range wireless communication, acquires location information by a GPS function, and transmits the identification information and the location information to a server. A detection terminal transmits the identification information transmitted from the object person terminal. The server specifies the location of the object person terminal on the basis of the information transmitted from the detection terminal or the identification information and the location information transmitted from the object person terminal. The object person terminal, when the occurrence of a matter of emergency is sensed, records ambient sounds as object person sound information, and transmits the recorded object person sound information to the server.
System for Roof Monitoring
The present invention is a system for roof top monitoring that includes a main body housing primary components that are operatively associated with a computer and communications system configured for each of monitoring the primary components and broadcasting an alert based on actuation of any of the primary components.
