MAP-BASED EMERGENCY CALL MANAGEMENT AND DISPATCH
An emergency response system provides a map-based interface for a telecommunicator to view information about an incident and coordinate a response to the incident. The emergency response system gathers supplemental data regarding locations and other information that may be relevant in assisting with the incident. The interface may automatically select relevant supplemental information based on the incident and provide this incident-specific information for display on the interface. The user may then select a response on the interface such as a unit to dispatch that the system automatically implements, providing unified information and control for incidents, supplemental information, and incident response.

The at least one portable communication device (200) is configured to enable the activation of an alarm condition by a user (700) and transmitting data on the activation of the alarm condition to the central computing device (500). The central computing device (500) is configured to receive the data on the activation of the alarm condition from the at least one portable communication device (200). Furthermore, the central computing device (500) is configured to activate the alarm condition at the end of a predetermined time delay after the activation of a first operating element (210) on the communication device (200). In one embodiment, the portable communication device comprises a second operating element (220) and is configured to input, from the second operating element (220), extension data indicating the extension of the predetermined delay, and to transmit the extension data to the central computing device (500); and the central computing device (500) is configured to extend the predetermined delay based on the extension data.
Electrical data processing system for monitoring or affecting movement of a vehicle using a traffic device
Systems and methods are disclosed for monitoring or affecting movement of a vehicle using a traffic device. An event data source may have a processor and/or a transceiver. The event data source may transmit, via the transceiver and to a vehicle and infrastructure computing device, information indicative of an event affecting a portion of road. The vehicle and infrastructure computing device may comprise a vehicle and infrastructure control computer. The vehicle and infrastructure computing device may receive, from the event data source, the information indicative of the event affecting the portion of road. The computing device may determine one or more traffic devices associated with the portion of road and configured to control traffic for the portion of road. Based on the information indicative of the event affecting the portion of road, the computing device may send, to the one or more traffic devices associated with the portion of road, instructions to change one or more characteristics of the one or more traffic devices.
Method and system for situational awareness for emergency response
Disclosed are systems and methods for sending emergency alerts. In some embodiments, sensors and wearable devices may trigger and send the emergency alerts and/or warning signals via available communication devices. Multi-media emergency alerts are also disclosed that include situational awareness information for effective and efficient emergency response.
Smart ring for use with a user device and Wi-Fi network
A smart ring includes a battery, memory, processing circuitry, a plurality of sensors, a plurality of antennas, and a battery, each coupled to one another and all enclosed in a casing, wherein the processing circuitry is configured to conserve the battery by any of sending data to the cloud service when an application is open on the user device, sending data to the cloud service when a threshold is crossed, waking up processing or communicating when there is a change in motion detected by the accelerometer.
Systems and methods for providing augmented reality emergency response solutions
An emergency response system (ERS) configured to acquire target terminal location data, emergency responder terminal location data, and equipment location data, engage a camera component of the emergency responder terminal to capture images of at least a portion of the surrounding real-world scene, providing such images for display on the touchscreen display of the emergency responder terminal, together with a selectable display object associated with a registered user that is further associated with the target terminal. Upon selection of the display object, details about the associated registered user may be displayed on the display of the emergency responder terminal.
Controlled-environment facility resident wearables and systems and methods for use
Controlled-environment facility resident behavioral and/or health monitoring may employ controlled-environment facility resident wearables each having a band configured to be affixed around a portion of a controlled-environment facility resident, irremovable by the resident and may include sensor(s) configured to measure biometric(s) of the controlled-environment facility resident and one or more physical parameter(s) experienced by the wearable, with a transmitter transmitting the biometric(s) and/or the physical parameter(s) to a controlled-environment facility management system. The controlled-environment facility management system may predetermine one or more normal input levels of the biometric(s) and/or physical parameter(s), receive the transmitted biometric(s) and/or physical parameter(s), determine whether received biometric(s) and/or physical parameter(s) rises above or falls below the predetermined normal input level(s), and alert controlled-environment facility personnel and/or law enforcement when received physical parameter(s) and/or received biometric(s) rise above or fall below the predetermined normal input level(s).
RAILYARD TRAIN DETECTION AND EARLY WARNING SYSTEM
The train detection system comprises a wireless communication network further comprising train detection modules attached to catenary poles at the entrance and exit of the railyard. Each train detection module is equipped with a plurality of diverse sensors configured to detect trains and other on-track vehicles. The diverse sensors are simultaneously active and work together for detecting an approaching or leaving train. The train detection modules generate train alerts which are transmitted wirelessly over the wireless communication network. Each of the railyard workers wears a personal alert device capable of wirelessly connecting with the train detection modules and receiving the train alerts over the said wireless communication network. The train alert modules are capable of transmitting alerts wirelessly to personal alert devices and other train alert modules. Train alert modules are capable of generating audio visual warnings for any personnel which may not be equipped with personal alert module.
System for communicating event and location information
The present invention provides a system, method and apparatus for initiating and handling an emergency IP request using an IP enabled device having GPS capability. The IP enabled device is monitored for one or more emergency criteria. If the emergency criteria are satisfied, global positioning data is obtained using the GPS capability and the emergency IP request is sent to an address server. The address server receives the emergency IP request, obtains local emergency services data based on the global positioning data, dials a call center station based on the local emergency services data and passes an emergency call from the IP enabled device to the call center station. This invention can be implemented as a computer program embedded in a computer readable medium wherein the steps are performed by one or more code segments.
