BUILDING SECURITY SYSTEMS WITH FALSE ALARM REDUCTION FEATURES
A security system of a building includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to detect, based on data of security equipment of the building, that a security alarm of the building is a false alarm and search, responsive to the detection of the false alarm, a database to identify a past corrective action accepted for implementation and at least one false alarm occurring after the past corrective action was accepted and before detection of the false alarm. The processing circuits is configured to generate a corrective action to reduce an occurrence of the false alarm based on a result of the search and implement the corrective action to update operation of the security equipment to reduce the occurrence of the false alarm.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME CROSS-VERIFICATION OF ALARMS
A method and system for cross-verification of alarms in real-time comprising identifying primary variables and secondary variables causing the event, labelling the primary variables and the secondary variables by primary engine and secondary engine based on Artificial Intelligence based predictive model building, predicting the labels by one or more inference engine based on previous history and data patterns, triggering secondary engine for cross-verification of alarms whenever there is a prediction from the primary engine, identifying the correlation between the labels from the primary engine and the secondary engine by validation engine, identifying alarm type based on correlation, recommending predictive maintenance and displaying on dashboard the cross-verification status of the alarms. The method reduces misclassification of alarm types based on predictive or preventive maintenance, reduces the maintenance costs of assets, and helps in prioritizing the critical alarms based on the alert type.
Fire detection apparatus
A fire detection apparatus 1 includes a first light emitting unit 101 that irradiates a detection space located inside or outside the fire detection apparatus 1 with first detection light, a second light emitting unit 102 that irradiates the detection space with second detection light having a different wavelength from a wavelength of the first detection light, a light receiving unit 103 that receives scattered light of the first detection light irradiated from the first light emitting unit 101 due to smoke, outputs a first light receiving signal according to the received scattered light, receives scattered light of the second detection light irradiated from the second light emitting unit 102 with respect to smoke, and outputs a second light receiving signal according to the received scattered light, and an identification unit 107a that identifies a type of smoke present in the detection space on the basis of an output ratio of an output value of the first light receiving signal to an output value of the second light receiving signal output from the light receiving unit 103 and a rising rate of the output value of the first light receiving signal or the second light receiving signal.
Quantum computing-based video alert system
A quantum computing based video alert system converts captured video and audio signals, in real time, into a sequence of video qubits and a sequence of audio qubits. An entanglement score is generated based on a comparison of the video qubits to historical video qubits that are verified to show malicious activity. A second entanglement score is generated based on a comparison of the audio qubits to historical audio qubits that are verified to show malicious activity. A probability score is generated for each segment of the video qubit sequence and for each segment of the audio qubit sequence. If the probability score for the video qubit sequence, the audio qubit sequence, or a combination of probability scores for both the video qubit sequence and the audio qubit sequence meet a threshold, then an alert is generated to identify possible malicious activity at the location of a CCTV camera capturing the real-time data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO RETRIGGER DETECTION BASED PROXIMITY ALARM SYSTEMS
A proximity warning system including cameras positioned on a machine, processors, and one or more memory devices including instructions for execution by the processors. The system includes instructions to receive, from the cameras, image data depicting an object within a field of view of the cameras. The system includes instructions to derive a first distance between the object and the machine based on the image data and an alarm is triggered when the first distance is less than a first threshold distance. The system can include instructions to receive a request to snooze the alarm and discontinue the alarm. Additional image data can be received from the cameras and a second distance between the object and the machine is derived based on the additional image data. The system includes instructions to cancel the snooze and retrigger the alarm when the second distance is less than a second threshold distance.
Garment with an emergency device and associated emergency method
A garment is intended to identify a danger situation for the user and react. The garment comprises an emergency device provided with sensors. Furthermore, the emergency device comprises an electronic processing unit and a supervisor and communication unit. The supervisor and communication unit, after being informed of the danger situation by the electronic processing unit, monitors the user by means of the sensors and assesses the level of user activity in order to decide or not to call for further assistance.
SHOCK DETECTION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A shock detector device (110) for premises security is described. The shock detector device (110) comprises a shock detector sensor (112) configured to sense physical motion and to output an electrical signal in response to the physical motion. Processing circuitry (114) is configured to process the electrical signal by: obtaining an indication that a shock event has occurred if a value for at least one parameter of the electrical signal is determined to exceed a threshold value; and processing instructions for adjusting at least one detection parameter of the shock detector device (110) in response to a determination that the shock event is a false alarm event, wherein the adjusting of the at least one detection parameter results in a decrease of a sensitivity of shock detection by the shock detector device (110).
Fall Risk Assessment System
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fall risk evaluation system whereby risk of falling of an elderly person or other person to be managed can be easily evaluated on the basis of a captured image of daily life, instead of by a physical therapist, etc. To achieve this purpose, the present invention is a fall risk evaluation system comprising a stereo camera and a fall risk evaluation device, the fall risk evaluation device being provided with: a person authentication unit for authenticating a person to be managed who has been imaged by the stereo camera; a person tracking unit for tracking the person to be managed who is authenticated by the person authentication unit; an action extraction unit for extracting walking by the person to be managed; a feature value calculation unit for calculating a feature value of the walking extracted by the action extraction unit; an integration unit for generating integrated data obtained by integrating the outputs of the person authentication unit, the person tracking unit, the action extraction unit, and the feature value calculation unit; a fall index calculation unit for calculating a fall index value of the person to be managed, on the basis of a plurality of integrated data generated by the integration unit; and a fall risk evaluation unit for comparing the fall index value calculated by the fall index calculation unit and a threshold value to evaluate the risk of falling of the person to be managed.
System and method for acoustically identifying gunshots fired indoors
A system and method for acoustically detecting the firing of gunshots indoors employs multiple microphones (15, 20) which are utilized individually and in combination to detect sounds inside a building or other structure and, upon sensing a loud impulsive sound which is indicative of a gunshot, processing signals from both microphones (15, 20) to determine if the sound is that of a gunshot. The system and method relies on the acoustic signature of the noise as collected, with the acoustic signature being analyzed to arrive at values which are then compared to adjustable levels that signify a gunshot.
