REMOTE CONTROL FOR A POWER MACHINE
A control system for remotely controlling a power machine is provided. The remote control system can include a hand-held remote control device configured to be in communication with a mobile device. The hand-held remote control device can include a plurality of operator input modules configured for manual actuation. The mobile device can be configured to be operatively connected to the power machine by a wireless communication system. The mobile device can be configured to receive an input from the hand-held remote control device, and output a command signal to a control system on the power machine based on the received input to command one or more functions of the power machine.
INTERNET OF THINGS CONFIGURATION USING EYE-BASED CONTROLS
In an approach to an Internet of Things configuration using eye-based controls, one or more computer processors receive an initiation of eye control of one or more computing devices from a user. One or more computer processors identify an eye gaze direction of the user. Based on the identified eye gaze direction, one or more computer processors determine one or more target devices of the one or more computing devices. One or more computer processors determine one or more activities associated with the one or more target devices. One or more computer processors determine one or more eye control commands associated with the one or more activities. One or more computer processors display the one or more eye control commands associated with the one or more activities in the field of view of the user.
Set-top box with enhanced controls
A set-top box with enhanced content and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a wireless transceiver is located within a housing, which also interconnectively includes a television input, television output, a processor, and memory. The set-top box may establish a pairing with a proximate wireless-enabled interactive programmable device having a display. Content, such music, for example, may be imported from the proximate wireless-enabled interactive programmable device and provided to the television. While the music is playing, the set-top box may generate and provide to the television a control signal that includes instructions to adjust the brightness of the television by dimming the television.
Short-range wireless electronic lock
The present disclosure provides a Bluetooth operated lock for a trigger or a sheath. It is designed to limit the users' access to the use of the firearm. The only way to release the lock is through a wireless signal from a cell phone or another remote device. The disclosure includes a band having a first end and a second end configured to form a continuous loop around a firearm handle inside or outside the trigger. The disclosure also includes a locking mechanism connecting the first end and the second end which is operable via a wireless signal. The disclosure additionally includes a blocking mechanism on the band and configured to block a depression of the trigger and operable via the locking mechanism. The disclosure further includes a safety button on the band configured to engage the blocking mechanism when depressed and released via the wireless signal.
Remote control of ear mounted audio devices
A remote controller for a sound delivery system such as hearing aids and headsets is shown and described. The remote controller has control buttons corresponding to control functions of the sound delivery system, a signal generator, a signal transmitter, and a power supply. The sound delivery system is worn on the head or ears, and includes speakers, sounding controlling elements, a signal receiver for communication with the remote controller, a power supply, and audible and/or visible beacons for implementing a locator function if misplaced or lost. The remote controller may be a stand alone, dedicated component physically separate from the sound delivery system, or alternatively, may be implemented as an application downloadable to a cellular telephone. The application causes manual controls corresponding to those of a hearing aid or stereophonic controls to appear on a screen of the cellular telephone.
POWER MONITORING AND SIGNAL UNIT
A power monitoring and signal unit provided with projecting connectors at a first face and sockets for receiving like connectors in a second opposite face, and circuitry for monitoring power flow through said unit when projecting connectors are plugged into a mains power outlet; and unit further provided with transceiver circuitry for the transmission and reception of data including command and control data. The power monitoring and signal unit may be in communication with a programmable sensor device comprising an individual signal and registered by an owner of individual signal unit with a central control facility. The individual signal unit communicates with central control facility when an event sensor activates said individual signal unit; central control facility executing a user-assembled schedule of predefined steps on receipt of a communication from individual signal unit, predefined steps configured or reconfigurable by an owner of said individual signal unit from a web site.
DEDICATED REMOTE CONTROL OF A PLURALITY OF MEDICAL APPARATUSES
The present invention relates to a method for contactlessly establishing a coupling between a medical apparatus (e.g., a hemodialysis apparatus or a peritoneal dialysis apparatus) and a remote control apparatus. An optical coupling signal is exchanged between the involved communication entities, in order to establish bijective, data-processing coupling between the remote control apparatus and the medical apparatus. Only after successful coupling is a remote control procedure initiated for remote control of the medical apparatus.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS IN DEVICES THAT ARE OPENED AUTOMATICALLY USING A UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL
The invention relates to a method and system for controlling access from a communications network (2) to any device (4) that is opened automatically, said system comprising a mobile device (2) and a remote control (1). The remote control (1) is characterised in that it: obtains the signals that control the automatic opening devices (4), either by means of cloning via antenna or using other means, and transmits said signals to the communications network (3), by means of its connection to any mobile device (2). Access can then be controlled from the communications network (3), simply by transmitting the signal that actuates the automatic opening device (4), via the mobile device (2) to which the remote control (1) is connected, to another requesting remote control (1). The remote control (1) then transmits the signal allowing the actuation thereof. Any remote control (1) can be used to actuate any automatic opening device (4).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DATA EXCHANGE BETWEEN GATEWAYS
The solution includes: establishing, by a first gateway, a network connection to a second gateway, where the first gateway is configured to manage a human body device of a first user, and the second gateway is configured to manage a human body device of a second user; obtaining, by the first gateway, collaboration information of the second gateway by using the network connection, where the collaboration information includes cellular network performance information; and if the cellular network performance information meets a preset performance condition, using, by the first gateway, the second gateway as an anchor for accessing the Internet, so as to connect the human body device of the first user to the Internet.
PORTABLE DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA CONFIGURED FOR REMOTE IMAGE ACQUISITION CONTROL AND VIEWING
A wearable digital video camera (10) is equipped with wireless connection protocol and global navigation and location positioning system technology to provide remote image acquisition control and viewing. The Bluetooth® packet-based open wireless technology standard protocol (400) is preferred for use in providing control signals or streaming data to the digital video camera and for accessing image content stored on or streaming from the digital video camera. The GPS technology (402) is preferred for use in tracking of the location of the digital video camera as it records image information. A rotating mount (300) with a locking member (330) on the camera housing (22) allows adjustment of the pointing angle of the wearable digital video camera when it is attached to a mounting surface.
