Moving Target of Interest Predictive Locating, Reporting, and Alerting
20230046309 · 2023-02-16 ·

Systems and corresponding methods are provided for moving object predictive locating, reporting, and alerting. This method includes receiving moving object data corresponding to a moving object; receiving sensor data from a sensor and merging the received moving object data and the received sensor data into a set of merged data. The example method further includes based on the set of merged data, automatically determining one or more of a predicted location or range of locations for the moving object, a potential path of travel for the moving object, an alert concerning the moving object, and providing the alert. The automatically determining may be further based on one or more historical traits concerning the object, and the geographic medium the object is moving through. The geographic medium may include one or more of terrain, air, water, and space. The object may be a soldier, vehicle, drone, or ballistic.

Aspects of traffic warning and data capture are discussed. An indication of an approaching vehicle and an ambient light level are received by a device associated with a signboard. Based on the indication and the ambient light level, an alert is provided to a driver of the approaching vehicle. For providing the alert, a first illumination panel positioned to direct light onto a face of signboard is lighted. In various embodiments, lights in different colors are flashed for alerting a driver of the approaching vehicle of different hazardous driving conditions, wherein the lights of different colors are flashed at different instances and in one more directions. Further, the device can record and store or share traffic and pedestrian movement information for further analysis.

Method for Predicting Traffic Light Information by Using Lidar and Server Using the Same
20230098014 · 2023-03-30 ·

A method for predicting traffic light information by using a LIDAR is provided. The method includes steps of: (a) on condition that each of metadata has been allocated for each of virtual boxes included in a region covered by the LIDAR, obtaining, by a server, at least part of start timing information and stop timing information of a plurality of vehicles for each of the virtual boxes; and (b) predicting, by the server, each of pieces of the traffic light information respectively corresponding to each of the virtual boxes by referring to at least part of the start timing information and the stop timing information of the vehicles for each of the virtual boxes.

DETERMINING TRAFFIC VIOLATION HOTSPOTS
20230033672 · 2023-02-02 ·

System and methods for determining traffic violation hotspots based on roadway feature and/or sensor data. Traffic violation hotspots include, for example areas where traffic violations are more likely to occur such as traffic light jumping, wrong way driving, over speeding, not wearing seatbelt, avoiding stop signs and red lights, distracted driving, passing other vehicles in a no-passing zone, among others. Embodiments further provide predictions for traffic accidents hotspots based on the presence or absence of the traffic violation hotspots.

Infringement detection method, device and system
11610481 · 2023-03-21 · ·

A method for detecting an infringement by vehicle operator is described. The method comprises detecting a vehicle; receiving one or more image of at least a part of the vehicle operator; automatically analysing with a neural network the one or more captured received image to detect an infringing act; and providing the one or more captured received images comprising the detected infringing act to thereby detect the infringement. Also described are a system, a device, a computer system and a computer program product all for detecting an infringement by a vehicle operator. The device may comprise one or more flash for illuminating the vehicle or a part thereof with light at a narrow band and one or more camera comprising a narrow band filter that lets through only the wavelengths of light produced by the one or more flash.

Traffic recording assembly
11636759 · 2023-04-25 ·

A traffic recording assembly includes a plurality of recording units that is each positionable on an emergency vehicle. Each of the recording units can be directed toward oncoming traffic when the emergency vehicle is positioned on the side of a roadway to respond to an emergency. Each of the recording units has video recording capabilities to identify vehicles that are not following traffic laws as they pass the emergency vehicle. Additionally, each of the recording units emits electromagnetic energy to detect the speed of the oncoming traffic. A base unit is positioned within the emergency vehicle to store the video and to store the speed of the oncoming traffic for subsequent prosecution.
