Plotting method for three-dimensional time-space diagram showing regional green-wave coordinated control effect

The invention discloses a plotting method for a three-dimensional time-space diagram showing a regional green-wave coordinated control effect. The plotting method includes the following steps: establishing a coordinate system of the three-dimensional time-space diagram; determining a specific position coordinate of each intersection in the coordinate system of the three-dimensional time-space diagram; generating a time prism of a signal timing plan of each intersection; determining a green-wave bandwidth of each arterial road; and generating a driving trajectory between the intersections, and making a green-wave band of each arterial road, and completing plotting.

METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR PREDICTING SWITCHING TIMES OF A SIGNAL GROUP OF A SIGNAL INSTALLATION FOR CONTROLLING A FLOW OF TRAFFIC

Real state information, which influences the switching times of a light signal system, is supplied as input signals to a first neural network in a fixed time cycle. The first neural network calculates estimated state information as a replacement for real state information or parts of the real state information which are not received in good time or are received incorrectly in the fixed time cycle. This estimated state information is output to artificial intelligence which predicts the switching times. The first neural network allows the artificial intelligence to also make good predictions for the switching times of signal groups when one of the many communication paths involved fails or is overloaded. It is therefore possible to predict signal group states in the fixed time cycle in real time with a high degree of robustness and tolerance with respect to gaps in the time cycle of the real state information provided.

A method for permitting a target vehicle to safely violate a right-of-way system of rules is described. The method may comprise, amongst other things, providing a roadway system, wherein the movements of vehicles within the roadway system are governed by a right-of-way system of rules; controlling a traffic control system including a plurality of traffic control signals in a manner that causes the plurality of traffic control signals to change in accordance with default control pattern for implementing the right-of-way system of rules; and modifying the default control pattern. By doings so, the method may permit a target vehicle to safely violate the right-of-way system of rules. Similarly, by doing so, the method may prevent a plurality of secondary vehicles from traveling along or through a predicted path of the target vehicle.

Methods for controlling traffic scheduling strategies in smart cities and Internet of Things (IoT) systems thereof

The present disclosure provides a method for controlling a traffic scheduling strategy in a smart city. The method includes obtaining traffic data information in a preset area during a current time period, the traffic data information at least including a speed of at least one vehicle on at least one road, predicting one or more target areas where traffic congestion is likely to occur from the preset area during a next time period based on the traffic data information in the preset area during the current time period, determining whether the traffic scheduling strategy is needed to be switched based on traffic data information in the one or more target areas during the next time period, and in response to determining that the traffic scheduling strategy is needed to be switched, switching a first traffic scheduling strategy to a second traffic scheduling strategy.
