IOT ENHANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

An IoT enhanced educational system is to be operated by a user, and includes a learning aid unit, a positioning unit and a processing unit. The learning aid unit includes a plurality of objects that are configured to be moved by the user. The positioning unit is configured to determine a position of each of the objects and to generate position data associated with the positions of the objects. The processing unit is electrically connected to the positioning unit for receiving therefrom the position data, and is configured to generate, according to the positions of the objects contained in the position data, an assessment associated with the user.

SYSTEM FOR VISUALLY REPRESENTING MUSICAL TIMING
20220165175 · 2022-05-26 ·

A system for visually representing musical timing includes a time signature spacer tile associated with a particular time signature and comprising a physical length based on the particular time signature. The system also includes one or more note tiles that have physical note tile lengths that correspond to different types of musical notes with different temporal note durations. The system also includes a tray that has a horizontal length. The tray is configured to receive the time signature spacer tile and a sequence of one or more note tiles of the plurality of note tiles. A combination of the time signature spacer tile and the sequence of note tiles substantially fills the horizontal length of the tray. A combined physical length of the sequence of note tiles corresponds to a combined temporal note duration that corresponds to a measure associated with the particular time signature.

Apparatus and methods for providing instruction include at least one instruction site defining an instruction board and at least one instruction piece configured to be received on the instruction site. A user manipulates the at least one instruction piece to perform a change of state operation relating to the instruction. The apparatus and methods are based on applied cognitive science, where children play the lead role in storylines staged upon a rule-enforcing apparatus and by so doing, become self-enlightened about denumerability, rank-wise denumerability, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and other change-of-state processes encountered in mathematics and the quantifiable sciences.

A multisensory learning system incorporates a plurality of connectable multisensory elements. Each multisensory element may be a piece, a tile, or a block, and includes a surface containing a single character recessed into the surface to form a track. The track may guide a user's finger into the recessed area containing a tactile pattern at a base thereof. The tactile pattern heightens the sensory perception of the character to aid in learning. Each multisensory element is capable of being attached to another multisensory element in order to string characters together. In use, tracing of the tactile pattern of the character triggers the combination of sensations of kinesthetic learning through the motion of tracing and tactile learning through the feel of the tactile pattern in the recessed characters. This may be combined with audiovisual learning by looking at the character(s) and speaking the name.
