Musical chord conversion aid device
The present invention relates to a music chords conversion device. The device is used for providing instant representation showing conversion or correlation of major chords to minor chords and vice versa. The device can come in two variants (1) a physical device (2) a digital device. The physical device has a chords conversion component and a minor chords component wherein the minor chords component is configured to slide into the chords conversion component through a cut-out opening. The minor chords can be correlated to the major chords and displayed in a viewing region of the chords conversion component. The digital device includes a memory for storing the chords conversion and also includes a digital display for displaying the converted minor and major chords.
MUSIC NOTATION SYSTEM
The invention disclosed herein comprises a method for visually representing music to be played on a musical instrument by providing a tablature staff which is divided into individual measures by segmenting the tablature staff with measure lines. Each measure is then further divided into proportional time subdivisions using subdivision lines. Alphanumeric notes are then printed between these subdivision lines on the tablature staff, wherein each alphanumeric note represents a tone to be played on a musical instrument and wherein the duration of each alphanumeric note is indicated by the number of time subdivisions within a measure and its corresponding font size.
Music learning aid
A music learning aid, comprising: a first rotatable circular substrate having a radius (R1) comprising an in-use first visible circular scale displayed on the first substrate, the visible display comprising a plurality of indicia for indicating corresponding musical notes such that the musical notes indicated in the visible display scale ascend in frequency in a clock-wise or anti-clockwise direction; a second circular substrate having a radius (R3), the second substrate being arranged to be substantially concentric and rotatable relative to the first substrate by the fastening arrangement to enable the second substrate to rotate relative to the first substrates, the second substrate comprising a polygon with vertices of the polygon being located along the circumference of the second substrate, the second substrate comprising respective indicia corresponding to each of the vertices for indicating a respective musical mode selected from a set of a plurality of musical modes.

System for creating, practicing and sharing of musical harmonies
Collaboratively creating musical harmonies includes receiving a user selection of a particular harmony. In response to this selection, there is displayed on a display screen of a computing device a plurality of musical note indicators or notes to specify a first harmony part of a musical piece to be performed. Real-time pitch detection is used to determine a pitch of each note which is voiced by a person, and a graphic indication of the actual pitch which is sung is displayed in conjunction with the musical note indicators.
Apparatus and method for visual and audible demonstration of musical concepts
The inventors disclose a new apparatus and method for visual and audible demonstration of musical concepts such as intervals, the tonic, transposition, scales, modes, and chords. The apparatus is based on a primary layer of indicia for each of the 12 chromatic notes of the musical octave, each indicium paired with a touch sensor. A novel means for superimposing additional layers of musical information employs a tonic indicator and encoder, and modular physical indicator pieces or multi-colored LED lights.

Interactive performance direction for a simultaneous multi-tone instrument
A musical instrument performance solution is described. Labels with visual indicators provide a reference to performers such that a proper combination of instrument inputs may be selected at the appropriate time. The visual indicators include colors and/or shapes. The visual indicators may be presented using differently-colored lyrical text, where each color corresponds to a set of notes. Each set of notes may for a chordal group such as a triad. The visual indicators may be associated with labels that are able to be adhered to various instrument inputs such as keys of a keyboard or piano.
