DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM
A portable digital audio system for a musician. The digital audio system includes an amplifier for processing an audio signal from a musical instrument or microphone electronically connected to the digital audio system and a speaker for playing a sound associated with the audio signal processed by the amplifier. The portable digital audio system also includes an audio control system providing operational control of the digital audio system and a primary housing for supporting the amplifier, the audio control system, and the speaker. Further, the digital audio system has a touch screen display in electronic communication with the audio control system and supported by the primary housing.
VIRTUAL TUTORIALS FOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WITH FINGER TRACKING IN AUGMENTED REALITY
Systems, devices, media, and methods are described for presenting a tutorial in augmented reality on the display of a smart eyewear device. The system includes a marker registration utility for setting a marker on a musical instrument, a localization utility for locating the eyewear device relative to the marker location and the instrument, a virtual object rendering utility for presenting a series of virtual tutorial objects on the display near one or more actuators on the instrument, and a hand tracking utility for tracking the performer's finger locations in real time during playback of a song file. A high-definition video camera captures sequences of frames of video data. The series of virtual tutorial objects, in one example, includes graphical elements presented on a virtual scroll that appears to move toward the instrument at a speed correlated with the song tempo. The hand tracking utility calculates a set of expected fingertip coordinates based on a detected hand shape and a library of hand poses and landmarks.
Information processing device, information processing method and program
There is provided an information processing device, an information processing method and a program that provide, as feedback to a user, information based on a level of collaboration of multiple movement elements in a performance provided by collaborative or non-collaborative moves of multiple parts of a body of the user and that are usable to support mastering a performance. The information processing device includes a sensing data acquisition unit configured to acquire multiple sets of sensing data from at least one sensors configured to sense a condition of multiple movement elements in a performance that is performed because multiple parts of a body of a user move; a calculator configured to calculate collaboration information representing move collaborativeness of the movement elements from the acquired multiple sets of sensing data; and a notification unit configured to notify the user of feedback information based on the calculated collaboration information is provided.
Chord and note assist assembly
A chord and/or note assist assembly includes a chord and/or note forming aid having a plurality of multi-position string engaging assemblies that engage strings of a guitar in a controlled manner so as to define chords associated with playing a guitar and an extension device having a plurality of multi-position string engaging assemblies that engage strings of a guitar in a controlled manner so as to define chords associated with playing a guitar. An electronic microprocessor circuit board is electrically linked to a solid-state memory to control the plurality of multi-position string engaging assemblies of both the chord and/or note forming aid and the extension device.

Keyboard training method and apparatus
A method of teaching keyboard instruments involves placing semi-permanent plates on specific keys of the keyboard, providing tactile stimulation which will develop muscle memory and confidence in playing correct notes. Different textures and colors may be employed to help differentiate plates and associated keys from others. Placement of plates on keys is to be determined by the instructor in consideration of the student's needs. Placement may be made on one or multiple keys, which may include an entire middle octave. Texturing may be a subtle as Braille characters or more bold designs and individual shapes of the plates may be flat or may be shaped to facilitate hand posture. Colors may be associated with specific notes on the grand staff to provide a visual aid. Finger adornments may also be used to aid in color correspondence. Plates may be held onto piano keys by utilizing either wet or dry adhesives.
Box String Instrument Simulator
A simulated musical string instrument formed of plural shaped sheets of rigid material, such as cardboard. There is a top sheet forming a top surface of the simulated string instrument body, and a bottom sheet forming a bottom surface, and multiple sheets between. A simulated fingerboard is attached to the top surface. The top sheet and fingerboard gets stickers that show parts of the simulated string instrument body including openings and notes. There is also a simulated bow guide and a simulated bow.
SMART TRAINING ACCESSORY FOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
A smart training accessory connected to musical instrument for aiding users in learning and collaboration is disclosed. The accessory includes a plurality of sensors for collecting data pertaining to the musical instrument. A microcontroller processes the data collected by the plurality of sensors to: (a) determine a type of musical instrument to which the smart training accessory is connected and (b) generate an alert for encouraging an individual to play the musical instrument when the user enters a monitoring area within the vicinity of the smart training accessory. Furthermore, when the user plays the musical instrument, the plurality of sensors captures data including audio recordings and transmits the data to a training and synchronization system. The training and synchronization system processes the received data to generate real-time feedback for the user and further aids collaboration with other users.
