Fire fighting training unit
A fire fighting training unit formed of steel plate with a stackable first story, second story and a roof mounted at eye level on a portable mobile stand for use with a thermal imaging camera. The roof is stackable on either the first story or second story. Each of the first and second stories has a hallway formed by divider panels separating first and second burn units, said hallways simulating a stairway when the first and second stories are stacked. Apertures in the divider panels have a sliding valve for controlling airflow. A garage with a base and a stackable roof is attached to the first story by a breezeway with a rotary valve in a sleeve for controlling airflow between the first story and the garage. The roofs having an aperture and the first and second burn units of the first and second stories have windows with latched closures.

MODELMAKING SYSTEM FOR DESIGNING BUILDINGS
A parts library apparatus of predesigned freestanding three dimensional box like forms representing modest room sized units, each complete with a floor, walls and a roof of a particular shape and pitch and further categorised as either room units with full height walls and lower pitched roofs, or loft units with higher pitched roofs and some short wall or no wall sides, together with three types of unit assembly defined as non-core, core, or a combination of both, so that by selecting a kit of parts containing at least one type of unit from the parts library, a user can assemble them in accordance with at least one of the three types of unit assembly to form at least one model building and building design which can be easily reconfigured to produce many alternative design options.

Seismic vulnerability analysis system of user's living space and seismic vulnerability analysis method of user's living space using the same
Provided is a seismic vulnerability analysis system of a user's living space. The system includes: an image receiving unit configured to receive image information obtained by photographing a living space, where various things are disposed, through a camera; an image signal processing unit configured to recognize the thing photographed in the image information as an object, extract a position and size of the object in a three-dimensional space, and convert the extracted position and size into spatial information; and an earthquake simulation unit configured to simulate motion phenomena of the objects in the space when an earthquake occurs according to simulated seismic conditions based on the spatial information.
Repositionable blueprint decals
Decals are repositionable, adhering pieces representing a plurality of furniture, fixtures, finishes, construction elements and architectural details for the use in Architectural, Interior, Landscape and/or Engineering Planning and Design. The Hand Drawn and/or Computer Drafted Graphics are Industry Standard and/or Custom Shapes represented as Individual or Grouped designs, specific to an Architectural, Engineering or Metric Scale. Printed on a Master Sheet and Die Cut Shapes result in individual, pliant pieces that peel away from the Master Sheet for application to the End User's Documents or Material, for Design Layout, Notation, Product Purchase Tracking and/or Diagramming Furniture and/or Fixture Installations. Printed in Monotone or Full Color, the durable yet disposable Decals utilize uncoated or coated, clear or opaque, repositionable adhesive paper and/or clear repositionable polypropylene.
Modelling assembly
A modelling assembly 1400 includes a plurality of releasably interconnectable parts, the parts including floor parts 1402 and wall parts 1408. The assembly 1400 includes a plurality of pegs 102, each of which, in an assembled condition, extends from one part to another part to hold the parts together, at least one of the parts defining a peg receiving hole 104 in which one of the pegs 102 is receivable.

Convex equilateral polyhedra with polyhedral symmetry
A new class of polyhedron is constructed by decorating each of the triangular facets of an icosahedron with the T vertices and connecting edges of a “Goldberg triangle.” A unique set of internal angles in each planar face of each new polyhedron is then obtained, for example by solving a system of n equations and n variables, where the equations set the dihedral angle discrepancy about different types of edge to zero, where the independent variables are a subset of the internal angles in 6 gons. Alternatively, an iterative method that solves for angles within each hexagonal ring may be solved for that nulls dihedral angle discrepancy throughout the polyhedron. The 6 gon faces in the resulting “Goldberg polyhedra” are equilateral and planar, but not equiangular, and nearly spherical.
Systems and methods for training firefighters
Systems and methods for training firefighters and other first responders are provided. The systems include a plurality of sensors configured to detect at least one ambient condition, such as, temperature; a receiver configured to receive the electric signals from the plurality of sensors; and a digital storage device operatively connected to the receiver and adapted to store the electrical signals corresponding to the detected ambient conditions. The data detected by the sensors can be retrieved for later review, analysis, and training. The systems may include at least one video recorder and/or at least one infrared image recorder each configured to detect images that can be stored for later retrieval and a synchronizing device adapted to synchronize the sensor data with the recorded images for later review. Methods of implementing the systems and portable cases enclosing the system are also provided.
