Flood monitoring and management system
Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for a flood-recovery analysis tool. One method includes operations for accessing weather information for a geographical region divided into cells and for generating runoff data based on the weather information. The runoff data includes a predicted amount of free-running water on a surface of each cell of the region. Further, the method includes operations for generating a prediction of inflow and outflow of water between cells, and for calculating, for a plurality of sub-cells of each cell in the geographical region, a predicted water depth in each sub-cell based on the prediction of the inflow and outflow between cells and a hydraulic model. Additionally, the method includes operations for generating a flood inundation map showing the predicted water depth at each sub-cell in the geographical region, and for causing presentation of the flood inundation map in a user interface of a display device.
Apparatus and method for dynamic navigation of a selected geographical zone
There is provided a handheld device for navigating about a selected geographical zone. The handheld navigating device includes a processor circuit with a screen on which an image representative of a geographical map of a selected geographical zone is displayed. The geographical map of the selected geographical zone includes representations corresponding respectively with points of interest having locations and categories. The geographical map is configured so that (a) at least part of the representations corresponding respectively with points of interest are clustered within at least one viewing area, (b) the at least one viewing area is distinguished by a visible pattern having both a selected appearance and a first visual state that do not reveal the locations and the categories of the points of interest. The handheld navigation device includes a geographical position locating subsystem for determining when a selected relationship exists between the user and one or more of the points of interest. Responsive to the selected relationship existing, the processor circuit changes the appearance of at least part of the visible pattern to both reflect that the at least one viewing area has been transformed from the first visual state to a second visual state and the extent to which the user has traversed the physical area.
MACHINE GENERATION OF BALANCED DIGITAL TERRITORY MAPS
With digitally stored geographical maps, programmed algorithms can calculate a plurality of territories within a map, the territories being balanced with respect to metric data that is associated with units of the map, using channel flow-based principles of the Constructal Law. One field of application is balanced territories for sales representatives in which units of a map are associated with different customers or entities having different sales volume, unit volume, or other workload associated with the units. As the magnitude of workload metrics changes, territories can be rapidly and efficiently rebalanced.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTROL PROGRAM
A display device includes a display that displays a map based on map data and Hypertext Markup Language data, a communicator that obtains the map data through Hypertext Transfer Protocol communication, and a display controller that updates, based on the map data obtained by the communicator and corresponding to location data obtained at predetermined time intervals, the map displayed on the display.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION BASED ON GEOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS
A method for providing information based on geographic parameters is disclosed. The method includes providing a map. A user-defined position on the map is received. Data of a first type, wherein the first type data relates to the user-defined position on the map, is provided.
Systems and methods for automated real-time and advisory routing within a fleet of geographically distributed drivers
Embodiments of systems and methods for automated real-time routing within a fleet of geographically distributed drivers are disclosed. Embodiments may operate to dispatch orders and determine routing in real-time in a geographic area through application of rule-based filtering of drivers and selective application of optimal or non-optimal routing solutions utilizing the real-time locations of drivers, real-time conditions within the geographic area and the locations for the set of orders being routed by the system.
System and method for tracking movement
A shoe includes: a heel portion; a toe portion; a sole portion; and an electrical assembly. The electrical assembly includes at least: a magnetometer configured to determine a direction of movement of the shoe; and an accelerometer configured to determine acceleration of the shoe. Direction and acceleration data are used to generate a display of a map indicating traversal of a route by a wearer of the shoe at user interface of a user device.
Systems, Methods, and Devices to Map and/or Provide an Interface to a Distributed Ledger
In one implementation, a method comprises: receiving, on a computing device, a search term for a search engine; and mapping to a distributed ledger based at least on the search term, wherein the distributed ledger is stored on one or more servers coupled to the computing device over one or more computer networks, and wherein the distributed ledger corresponds to augmented data associated with the search term.
Information processing device and recording medium
An information processing device includes a display configured to display a mesh of mesh information based on longitude and latitude. A mesh is composed of a plurality of blocks. The mesh information includes area information about a traveling area where a moving body can travel. The area information is the additional information added to each of the plurality of blocks. The additional information is the display information that is weighted and sorted, based on the number of overlapping points of the plurality of locus logs.
