Methods and systems for creating and using a location identification grid
A method and system for generating a location identifier using a location code and a grid coordinate. The location code corresponds to a defined geographical area, such as a postal code or an area code. A grid coordinate can be determined based on destination location information, such as an address, a GPS-determined position, or other reference to a specific physical location. The location identifier is combined with the location code to generate a location identifier, which can be encoded in a computer readable format and placed on items for use in a distribution network. The location identifier can be used to facilitate domestic or international distribution of items using a common format or addressing scheme. The domestic and foreign distribution networks read and interpret location identifiers in order to deliver items.
Portable terminal device, and search system
The present application includes a search route processor that calculates a plurality of search routes between locations of a plurality of searchers belonging to a predetermined area and a search target based on position information of the search target acquired from a position information terminal held by the search target, and a plurality of portable terminals that is held by the plurality of searchers and displays the plurality of search routes calculated by the search route processor and personal information that identifies the search target.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN ACTIONABLE COCKPIT OF AN AIRCRAFT
Systems and methods providing an actionable cockpit in an aircraft. The actionable cockpit is a flight control system/method that includes a human machine interface (HMI) in the cockpit of the aircraft. The actionable cockpit is configured to effectively convert one or more non-interactive charts/pages and non-interactive windows and webpages displayed by pilots into interactive versions of themselves, and, to respond to pilot selections on the interactive versions by transferring selected information seamlessly between the multiple sources/applications. Additionally, embodiments of the actionable cockpit can map the pilot selections to an intended concept or target avionic system, suggest possible follow up actions related to the concept, and automatically begin an action when it is selected.
Systems and methods for indexing geological features
Systems and methods for indexing geological features are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for indexing geological features includes accessing a database storing a plurality of map objects that originate from documents. Each map object includes a map defined by a geographical boundary and a text caption. The method includes, for each map object, determining a plurality of geohashes within the geographical boundary, and includes, for each map object, comparing terms of the text caption with a list of geological keywords. For each map object, the method includes identifying one or more geological noun phrases within the text caption that match one or more geological noun phrases of the list. The method includes determining, for each geological noun phrase, one or more geohashes associated with the geological noun phrase and, for each geohash, determining a frequency that the geohash is associated with the geological noun phrase.
System and method of geographic data aggregation and analysis
Various systems and methods of aggregating and analyzing geographically indexed data are disclosed. The system can include a server database hosting an application that a client computer may access via a web browser according to a SaaS architecture. The server database can store a variety of geographically indexed data, which may include economic data, demographic data, social data, and various other data types. The server database can be programmed to cause the client to display a map for receiving a selected geographic area defined on the map and then retrieve selected data corresponding to user-selected criteria for the selected geographic area. The server database can then transmit the selected data to the client for display on the map.
Superimposed-image display device and computer program
Superimposed-image display devices and programs display a guide image providing a guidance of information to a driver of a vehicle such that the guide image is superimposed on a view ahead of the vehicle and is visually recognized. The systems and programs obtain three-dimensional map information that specifies a three-dimensional shape of a road and a structure nearby the road and arrange the guide image in the three-dimensional map information, based on the three-dimensional shape of the road and the structure nearby the road. The systems and programs obtain a shape of the guide image that is visually recognized from a position of the driver in the three-dimensional map information and display the guide image having the obtained shape.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
This information processing device includes: a collection unit collecting, on the basis of activations of a plurality of flavor suction tools, information about the locations of a plurality of user terminals respectively connected to the plurality of flavor suction tools which the locations of all or some of the plurality of user terminals are indicated in an identifiable mode; a determination unit determining whether it is suitable to present, as use areas of the flavor suction tools, the respective one or more areas in which the user terminals are located in the user location map; and a second creation unit creating a determination result map in which the area determined to be suitable to be presented as the use area of the flavor suction tool is indicated in the identifiable mode.
