Tamper proof seal assembly

A tamper proof locking mechanism incorporating a first fixture for attachment to an index protective cover, a second fixture for attachment to an instrument, and a third fixture for connecting the first fixture to the second fixture. The first fixture may have a receptacle, the second fixture may have a plate with an opening, and the third fixture may have a protrusive structure that fits into the receptacle of the first fixture and into the opening in the plate to connect the first fixture to the second fixture. The protrusive structure may have a rivet that is partially embedded with a plastic-like material that reveals tampering when an attempt is made to break a connection between the first fixture and the second fixture.

Electronic bolt for cargo containers

An insertion pin includes a pin member on which a circuit board, an inspection antenna, and an inspection chip are mounted. The circuit board includes a main circuit, a main chip, and an inspection circuit set in an open-circuit condition with respect to the inspection antenna and the inspection chip. A lock base includes a main antenna matching the main chip. When the lock base and the pin member are combined and locked together, the main chip is electrically connected with the main antenna to emit a first signal for monitoring with an identification device, and the inspection circuit is electrically connectable with the inspection chip and the inspection antenna to emit a second signal to allow a mobile phone to carry out quality control to determine if the first signal is in normal operation. Cutting off the insertion pin terminates both the first and second signals.

BOLT SEAL

A bolt seal including a pin and a barrel where the barrel has a storage position on the pin and a lock position on the pin, the bolt seal optionally including a restrainer and optionally being packaged in a container in a common orientation with other bolt seals.

Seal delivery tracking system

Systems and devices are provided for tracking deliveries and confirming delivery information with seals attached to the delivery vessel. In certain embodiments the seal includes a hidden number or code that is only viewable once the seal is broken or cut. The seal includes data and information that matches that of a corresponding delivery. Mobile devices and other computing devices can track the information that is input by the delivery personnel during the delivery process.

Clothing Tag

A clothing tag (10) comprising first side and second side members (12, 14) pivotable to a closed position to capture a portion of material (11). A first connector (43) is provided on a frangible base comprising a disc (51) secured relative to the first side member (12) by a plurality of connecting portions (52) around the periphery thereof. A second connector (45) is provided on the second side member (14) such that the first connector (43) engages with the second connector (45) when the first and second side members 12 and 14 are closed. Rotation of an actuator severs the connecting portions (52) such that the first connector (43) is broken away from the first side member (12), thereby allowing the first and second side members (12, 14) to be moveable to an open position to release the material 11.

Wireless security for freight container seals
11183086 · 2021-11-23 ·

Systems and methods can secure freight container seals using electronic sensors. A hardened sensor clamp housing can include one or more sensing portals. The sensor clamp housing can receive a bolt seal through each of the sensing portals. One or more seal sensors may be positioned proximate to the sensing portals to sense a physical characteristic of the inserted bolt seal. This characteristic may be electrical, optical, magnetic, or so forth. The seal sensors can generate an electrical signal associated with cutting or tampering with the inserted bolt seal. The electrical signal can be coupled to a sensor clamp module operable to determine a tamper state of the bolt seal in response to the associated electrical signal. The determined tamper state can be communicated via a sensor clamp wireless module to a container controller or communications gateway.

CONTAINER SEAL

A container seal includes a locking bolt, which has on one end portion or central portion thereof a push-in/latch compartment which is open in the transverse direction relative to the lock axis and is formed or provided with an undercut acting in the direction of the latch compartment opening; a clip or tab, wherein the clip or tab is arranged on the other end portion of the locking bolt; and a bolt or bar which is arranged on the free end/end portion of the clip or tab and has on the free end/end portion thereof a latch device which is coupled to the bolt via a predetermined breaking point.

Sealing bolt and method of installing a sealing bolt

A sealing bolt includes a seal head adapted to be mounted to the container lid, a seal stud adapted to be mounted to the container body, a pin connecting the seal head to the seal stud, a conductor in a transverse passage in the pin and a resilient member arranged for biasing the pin into a first position in which the conductor is compressed. The pin is movable against biasing by the resilient member into a second position by application to the seal head of a predetermined torque. The sealing bolt also includes a monitoring and detection unit including a transmitter and a detector coupled to respective ends of the conductor, and a processor coupled to the transmitter and the detector operable to determine that the pin has been moved into the second position for a first time when a signal detected by the detector has undergone a predetermined change.
