Mechanical warning device for a vehicle, for example particularly for a velocipede
A mechanical warning device (1) for a vehicle, including for a velocipede, includes a body (2), a ringer (3) mounted on the body, a striker (4) movably mounted on the body and relative to the ringer, and a magnet mechanism (5) which is configured such that, when the striker is displaced from a stable position to an intermediate position in which it has been displaced away from the ringer, it drives the striker from the intermediate position to strike the ringer then brings the striker back into the stable position.

BELL
A variety of bells are described. In one aspect, a support carries a bell body. A first portion of the support is positioned within the bell cavity and a second portion extends outside the bell cavity through the bell's mouth. A strike lever is coupled to the support at a location within the bell cavity. The strike lever is resiliently biased towards a neutral position that is spaced apart from the bell body. To ring the bell, a user presses the strike lever thereby spring loading the lever as the lever moves away from the bell strike surface. When the strike lever is released, the spring loading causes the strike lever to swing to strike the bell body to ring the bell. The strike lever is configured to strike the bell body while traveling in a direction having a radially outward vector component.
Doorbell system with pulse-driven boost rectifier
In some embodiments, a power supply in a doorbell system includes a boost rectifier circuit with a plurality of active devices arranged in a bridge topology that are configured to receive an AC input voltage, generate a DC output voltage by rectifying the AC input voltage, drive an electric load using the rectified DC voltage, and boost an amplitude of the AC input voltage. Two of the plurality of active devices in the boost rectifier circuit may be pulse driven and can control an operation of a mechanical or digital chime device. The chime device can include a solenoid and the boost rectifier circuit may utilize the solenoid as an energy storage element to facilitate the boosting of the amplitude of the AC input voltage. The boost rectifier circuit may boost the AC input voltage by at least a multiplication factor of two.

Doorbell conversion device and doorbell assembly
A doorbell conversion device includes a power input terminal, a power output terminal, two doorbell trigger terminals, a power conversion unit, and a trigger signal unit. The power conversion unit is coupled between the power input terminal and the power output terminal for generating a sensing signal in response to an electric potential of the power output terminal. While the electric potential of the power output terminal is grounded, the power input terminal and the power output terminal are disconnected. In contrast, the power input terminal and the power output terminal are connected. The trigger signal unit is coupled between the power conversion unit and the two doorbell trigger terminals for controlling the two doorbell trigger terminals to be opened or shorted based upon the sensing signal. While the electric potential of the power output terminal is grounded, the two doorbell trigger terminals are shorted. In contrast, they are opened.
