A secure storage system having authentication and cryptographic data protection is made by providing a mass-data memory and a security element communicatively coupled with the mass-data memory. This mass-data memory and the securing element are controlled by respective different control commands such that different drivers can be installed to operate the mass-data memory and the security element. A secured hardware data interface is provided between the mass-data memory and the security element, and the security element provides security-critical information concerning the data of the mass-data memory.

The present invention relates to a storage device for secure authentication, comprising a mass data memory and a security element which enables the secure authentication of a storage device in the presence of further hardware components without the need for a large amount of technical expenditure. The present invention further relates to a corresponding method for providing or producing the proposed storage device and to a computer program product comprising control commands which implement the proposed method.

A method for creating RFID copies from an original sheet using an imaging device having a scanner system and a printer system, each system having a RFID reader programmer. RFID copies made be made from an original sheet having a RFID tag or an original sheet having no RFID tag. Document control of the RFID copy may also be provided using a document lifecycle database and a user credentials database in communication with the imaging device.
