20200212930 · 2020-07-02 ·

The present technology relates to a signal processing apparatus, a signal processing method, and a program that make it possible to cope with an output of a PCM signal using one DSD signal. A distribution apparatus includes an extraction section that, in a case where a PCM signal having a predetermined sampling frequency is generated from a DSD signal, extracts a predetermined number of samples from the DSD signal around samples at a predetermined interval determined by the predetermined sampling frequency, and a filtering section that generates the PCM signal having the predetermined sampling frequency by filtering the extracted predetermined number of samples. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a distribution apparatus, etc., that distributes the PCM signal to a client apparatus.

According to one embodiment, a magnetic disk device includes a magnetic disk, a motor, a magnetic head, and a controller. A first area, and a second area located on an inner diameter side of the first area are provided in the magnetic disk. The motor rotates the magnetic disk. The controller receives a write command. In a case where a first position that is a position designated as a write destination of data by the write command is included in the first area, the controller writes the data to the first position by the magnetic head while rotating the magnetic disk at a rotational speed of a first value. In a case where the first position is included in the second area, the controller writes the data to the first position by the magnetic head while rotating the magnetic disk at a rotational speed of a second value larger than the first value.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods for time shifting tasks in a computing system. A system may include a display control unit configured to process pixels for display. The display control unit may include at least one or more pixel processing pipelines, a control unit, and a pixel buffer. The control unit may be configured to monitor the amount of data in the pixel buffer and set the priority of pixel fetch requests according to the amount of data in the pixel buffer. If the control unit determines that an inter frame period will occur within a given period of time, the control unit may prevent the priority of pixel fetch requests from being escalated if the amount of data in the pixel buffer falls below a threshold. The control unit may also be configured to fill the buffers of the display control unit with as much data as possible during the inter frame period.

Magnetic recording and reproducing device and method of controlling magnetic recording and reproducing device
