An information processing apparatus reads definition information that is common to a plurality of magnetic tapes and defines a plurality of pieces of data included in archive data, generates the same number of pieces of the archive data as the number of the magnetic tapes based on the definition information, the archive data being obtained by grouping the plurality of pieces of data, and performs control of recording the plurality of pieces of generated archive data on the plurality of magnetic tapes in one-to-one correspondence.

DYNAMIC VISUAL INTENSITY RENDERING
20230239523 · 2023-07-27 ·

The present technology can provide a mechanism for adjusting a visual effect that is associated with an audio artifact at a given frequency bandwidth that is attenuated by speaker characteristics. The intensity of the visual effects that is adjusted can also be attributed to a change in volume settings of a processing device as well as an intensity of a multimedia skin in which the visual effect is encoded. The multimedia skin includes filters, transitions/animations, and/or image universal processing, that can be applied to any set of photos, videos, and/or songs, in order to create, in real-time, many variations of the same digital multimedia file, wherein each multimedia skin leads to a specific video rendering.

Gas detection device that visualizes gas

A gas detection device includes: a processor that visualizes a gas by performing image processing on infrared image data in an inspection region imaged by an imaging device; a display that displays an inspection image that reflects a result of the image processing; and an input interface that receives an input of supplementary information on the inspection image displayed on the display.

RECORDING MOMENTS TO RE-EXPERIENCE

Methods, systems, and storage media for recording moments as they are occurring and utilizing a virtual assistant to re-play those moments as a fully or partially immersive experience are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: record data for a particular moment as the moment is occurring and utilize a virtual assistant to replay the moment as a fully or partially immersive experience. The recorded data may include indicators of a plurality of sensory perceptions for the recorded moment.

INSERTING INFORMATION INTO PLAYING CONTENT
20230229697 · 2023-07-20 ·

Example methods and systems for inserting information into playing content are described. In some example embodiments, the methods and systems may identify a break in content playing via a playback device, select an information segment representative of information received by the playback device to present during the identified break, and insert the information segment into the content playing via the playback device upon an occurrence of the identified break.

System and method for displaying objects of interest at an incident scene

A system and method for displaying an image of an object of interest located at an incident scene. The method includes receiving, from the image capture device, a first video stream of the incident scene, and displaying the video stream. The method includes receiving an input indicating a pixel location in the video stream, and detecting the object of interest in the video stream based on the pixel location. The method includes determining an object class, an object identifier, and metadata for the object of interest. The metadata includes the object class, an object location, an incident identifier corresponding to the incident scene, and a time stamp. The method includes receiving an annotation input for the object of interest, and associating the annotation input and the metadata with the object identifier. The method includes storing, in a memory, the object of interest, the annotation input, and the metadata.
