Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, observing a plurality of objects viewed through a smart lens, wherein the plurality of objects are in a frame of an image viewed by the smart lens, determining an identification for an object of the plurality of objects, assigning tag information for the object based on the identification, storing the tag information for the object and the frame in which the object was observed, receiving a recall request for the object, retrieving the tag information for the object and the frame responsive to the receiving the recall request, and displaying the tag information and the frame. Methods and Systems for Detecting Persons in a Smart Home Environment

The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for detecting motion and persons. In one aspect, a method is performed at a smart home system that includes a video camera, a server system, and a client device. The video camera captures video and audio, and wirelessly communicates, via the server system, the captured data to the client device. The server system: (1) receives and stores the captured data from the video camera; (2) determines whether an event has occurred, including detected motion; (3) in accordance with a determination that the event has occurred, identifies video and audio corresponding to the event; and (4) classifies the event. The client device receives information indicative of the identified events, displays a user interface for reviewing the video and audio stored by the remote server system, and displays the at least one classification for the event.

Methods and Systems for Detecting Persons in a Smart Home Environment

The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for detecting motion and persons. In one aspect, a method is performed at a smart home system that includes a video camera, a server system, and a client device. The video camera captures video and audio, and wirelessly communicates, via the server system, the captured data to the client device. The described techniques relate to a simulation system that multiplexes sensor data from multiple sensors and outputs the multiplexed sensor data in channels corresponding to the multiple sensors to appropriate vehicle systems at an appropriate time based on encoded timestamp data. In examples, a multiplexer may receive sensor datasets associated with different sensors. The multiplexer may encode the different sensor datasets with timestamp data and supplemental data to generate an encoded dataset. The multiplexer may output the encoded dataset to a video output port to transmit the encoded dataset to a demultiplexer. The demultiplexer receives the encoded dataset from the video output port, and separates the encoded dataset into channels corresponding to the sensors from which the sensor data was received. The demultiplexer may output the datasets in the respective channels at a time (or times) indicated in the timestamp data and according to the supplemental data.

Recording and playing video using orientation of device

A method and system for recording and playing a video are provided. The method includes receiving an input, from a first user, to start recording of the video. An orientation of a recording device is detected for a plurality of frames while recording the video. An input to stop recording of the video is then received. The video is stored in a video file and the orientation of the recording device for the plurality of frames is stored as metadata associated with the video file. The playing includes receiving an input to play the video from a second user. An orientation of a playing device is detected. The video file is accessed, and the video is played using the metadata, the input received from the second user, and the orientation of the playing device. The video file is used to control speed and direction of the video.
