METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING HARD DISK CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION DURING A COMPUTER SESSION
A device to detect hot-plugging and hot-unplugging of hard disk and the hard disk type includes a connector and a control circuit. When hot-plugged, the hard disk is coupled to the connector, the control circuit comprises delay circuit and latch circuit. The delay circuit delays a falling edge of the third signal and outputs a delay signal, the latch circuit processes the first and second signals and outputs a logical result as a latch signal. The control circuit determines the connected or disconnected status and type of the hard disk according to the respective levels of the first and second signals, the delay signal, and the latch signal. The delay signal and the latch signal work to correct error of the control circuit in determining connectivity and non-connectivity during a session due to asynchronous changes in signal levels of the first and second signals.
DISK CARTRIDGE DATA STORAGE LIBRARY
A data storage disk cartridge library includes a media drive having a clean internal environment, a disk cartridge bay positioned adjacent to the media drive, and a disk cartridge positioned in the disk cartridge bay and having clean compartments for housing a clean disk trays supporting clean magnetic recording disk media. The media drive has a disk tray extractor including a seal plate positioned at times flush with a surrounding shroud, and a set of pins for extending through the seal plate and a disk tray and for moving to a tray locking position. The seal plate covers a disk tray faceplate to physically isolate the faceplate from the clean portion of the disk tray, the corresponding clean compartment, and the clean environment of the media drive. The shroud is configured to cover surfaces of the disk cartridge adjacent to the faceplate.
System and method for accommodating multiple types of devices in a half-height bay
A system, information handling system and method are disclosed for accommodating multiple devices in a single bay. A bracket comprises a pair of sidewalls adapted for slidable insertion in slots in a bay. An upper portion of the bracket comprises inner walls formed with slots and a lower portion formed with flanges. A tray formed with rails on exterior surfaces may be inserted in the slots in the inner walls of the bracket. A first SFF device or devices may be positioned in the tray and a second SFF device may be positioned in the flanges to install multiple SFF devices in the bay.
DISK DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a disk device includes a recording medium of a disk form, a magnetic head, a housing, and a first protective member made of a resin. The recording medium includes a recording layer. The magnetic head is configured to read/write information from/to the recording medium. The housing includes a base provided with an inner chamber in which the recording medium and the magnetic head are accommodated, a cover that covers the inner chamber, and a welded part at which the base and the cover are welded to each other. The first protective member is located outside the housing, to cover at least part of the welded part.
Assembly module and expansion equipment
An assembly module is applicable to a casing of an expansion equipment. The assembly module includes a transmission component and an operating member. The transmission component is disposed in the casing. The transmission component includes a rotary member, a connecting member, and a buckle member. The rotary member is pivotally connected to the casing. The connecting member is connected between the rotary member and the buckle member. A part of the buckle member is exposed from a buckle hole of the casing. The operating member is disposed on the casing, and is connected to the transmission component. The operating member is configured to drive the transmission component, so that a part of the buckle member is movably disposed in the buckle hole of the casing.
Suspension assembly and disk device
According to one embodiment, a suspension assembly includes a support plate, a wiring member disposed on the support plate, and a head supported on the support plate through the wiring member. The wiring member includes a distal end portion electrically connected to the head, a connection end portion extending outside the support plate, and a plurality of wirings extending between the distal end portion and the connection end portion. The connection end portion includes an opening with predetermined length and width and thirteen or more connection terminals disposed in the opening and arranged at intervals in a direction of the length. A percentage of an area of the opening occupied by areas of the thirteen or more connection terminals is 40% to 65% inclusive.
REDUCED THICKNESS COMPONENTS FOR HARD DISK DRIVES
A hard disk drive includes a base and a cover coupled together to create an enclosure and an actuator assembly positioned in the enclosure. The actuator assembly includes a body and arms extending from the body, and the arms comprise a reinforced aluminum alloy. Magnetic recording disks are respectively positioned between pairs of the arms.
ASSEMBLED RECORD PLAYER
An assembled record player includes: a box having a cover and a base, and the cover being covered onto the base, and a accommodating space being included between the cover and the base; a record player contained in the accommodating space; at least one loudspeaker and contained in the accommodating space; and a circuit board contained in the accommodating space. The cover and the base are separated, and an accommodating hole is formed on the cover, and the record player is installed and fixed to the accommodating hole, and the loudspeaker and the circuit board are fixed to the base, and the circuit board is electrically connected to the record player and the loudspeaker, and the cover of the record player is covered onto the base to form the record player. Therefore, users can experience the fun of assembling the record player.
