ELECTRICAL CABLE WITH DIELECTRIC FOAM
Electrical cables and optical waveguides are disclosed as including an electrically insulative foam. The electrically insulative foam can coat at least one electrical conductor of the electrical cable. The electrically insulative foam can coat the optical fiber of the waveguide. The electrically insulative foam can also define a waveguide.
ELECTRICAL CABLE WITH DIELECTRIC FILM
A cable includes an inner conductor and a dielectric layer extending around the inner conductor. The dielectric layer includes a linearly-stretched polypropylene film having a porous structure that includes a plurality of pores that extend through a thickness of the linearly-stretched polypropylene film. The dielectric layer includes air molecules trapped within the pores of the linearly-stretched polypropylene film such that the dielectric layer includes polypropylene and air. The cable includes an outer conductor extending around the dielectric layer.
COAXIAL CABLE
A coaxial cable 10 includes a hollow-core-body 1 having an integral structure of thermoplastic resin including an inner annular portion 2 that insulation-coats an inner conductor 12, a plurality of rib portions 3 that radially extend from the inner annular portion 2, and an outer annular portion 4 that is connected to outer ends of the rib portions 3; three or more gap portions 5 surrounded by the inner annular portion 2, the rib portions 3, and the outer annular portion 4; and outer side reinforcing portions 7 being formed on both sides of an outer end in the rib portion 3, in which a size ratio of a minimum value W1 of a rib width in the rib portion 3 and a maximum value W2 of the rib width in the rib portion 3 is within a range of 1:1.6 to 1:3.0.
Coaxial cable and medical cable using same
A coaxial cable includes a central conductor, and an electrical insulator formed around a circumference of the central conductor. The electrical insulator is made of an electrical insulating tape wrapped and overlapped around the circumference of the central conductor. The electrical insulating tape includes a plurality of voids formed on one outer circumferential surface.

ELECTRICAL CABLE WITH ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE COATING
Electrical cables are disclosed can include at least one electrical conductor, an inner electrical insulator that surrounds the at least one electrical conductor, and an electrical shield disposed about the inner electrical insulator. The electrical cables can include an electrically conductive material disposed between adjacent layers of the electrical cable. In one example, an electrical coating can be disposed in the electrical shield, for instance, in regions of overlap. Flowable electrically conductive materials are also disclosed that can flow into gaps during operation of the electrical cable.
Cable with a carbonized insulator and method for producing such a cable
A cable is specified, specifically for a signal line, which extends in a longitudinal direction and which includes an inner conductor and also an outer conductor. Between the inner conductor and the outer conductor there is formed an insulating material which surrounds the inner conductor and which has a surface that has been at least partially carbonized. Furthermore, a production method for such a line is specified.
