Grommet and wire harness

A grommet includes a fitting body causing a fitting groove to be fitted to a circumferential edge of a through hole, and a first tubular body and a second tubular body. The fitting body includes a tubular portion, a rib rising from an outer circumferential wall surface of the tubular portion, and a locked portion disposed radially inside the rib, rising from the outer circumferential wall surface, and configured to be locked to an outer circumferential surface of the first tubular body, to suppress elastic deformation of the tubular portion or reduce elastic deformation amount. The rib is elastically deformable in a circumferential direction, and the outer circumferential wall surface has a plurality of projection groups constituted by the locked portion and a plurality of ribs disposed radially outside the locked portion.

Grommet with a plurality of zones having different levels of elasticity

The invention relates to a grommet made of a material that is elastic at least in portions for receiving at least one elongate object for strain relief and sealing, comprising an outer frame element that can be opened along a slit and comprises at least two membranes that are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the elongate object to be received and each comprise a hole of equal size, so as to be flush with one another, for receiving the elongate object. The invention is characterised in that the respective hole of the at least two membranes contacts the material of the frame element on the side of the slit.

The present disclosure describes a grommet formed of a polymeric material and adapted for securing a cable within a cable hanger. The grommet includes a main body having a generally cylindrical profile surrounding an interior cavity, the main body further having a length, a thickness, and a longitudinal axis, a slot extending the length of the main body which provides an entry point for the cable to be inserted into the interior cavity, a plurality of flex retention members extending into the interior cavity configured to grip and secure the cable within the interior cavity, and one or more grip enhancement features residing between an inner surface of the main body and the flex retention members. The grip enhancement features are configured to provide additional support to the flex retention members when a cable is inserted into the interior cavity.

Grommet and wire harness

A grommet applied to a wire harness includes: a body (10) fitted into a through hole and stops water from entering the through hole; and an umbrella-shaped unit including an annular wall section, a first lip section, and a second lip section, the first lip section and the second lip section abutting an abutting target surface in a state in which the body is fitted into the through hole. The first lip section and the second lip section are provided in the annular wall section so as to be located within an installation region of an insulator when viewed along an axial direction. The umbrella-shaped unit includes a stress concentration section that is provided in an annular shape in the annular wall section on a center axis side with respect to the first lip section, and is located within the installation region when viewed along the axial direction.

DRY-TYPE PLUG-IN BUSHING, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME, AND HIGH-VOLTAGE INSTALLATION COMPRISING SAME

The present invention relates to a dry-type plug-in bushing, a manufacturing method of same, and a high-voltage installation, more specifically, to a plug-in high-voltage bushing for connecting an external electrical conductor to a high-voltage installation filled with an insulating body, and to a high-voltage installation comprising said bushing. The dry-type plug-in bushing comprises: a conducting body; a cast-type resin insulating body surrounding the conducting body; an electric field-control electrode made of a semi-conducting synthetic resin material, coupled to an upper end of a lower support fitting; the lower support fitting connected to the outer circumference of a lower part of the cast-type resin insulating body; and injected insulating body produced by an insert injection including the outer circumference of the cast-type resin insulating body and electric field-control electrode, having formed thereon a plurality of fins; and a stress cone connected to a lower end of the cast-type resin insulating body.
