CAPACITIVE POWER TRANSMISSION CABLE
An object of the instant application is to provide a capacitive power transmission cable comprising at least two sets of conductive strands, the sets of strands being insulated from each other and in capacitive relationship, the one with the other; wherein the conductive strands are laid at least substantially in a multiples of six layer structure, with substantially equal numbers of strands of both sets; and wherein each layer has strands of one set alternating with strands of the other set and the strands of the respective sets have different contrasting color.

The thermally conductive insulator layer is made at least from a polyamide-imide based polymer having a repeating unit of 4,4′-stilbenediamide group, and a ceramic material.

A magnetic module includes: a magnetic core; and plural enameled wires wound on the magnetic core, the enameled wire being wound on the magnetic core to form a primary coil and a secondary coil, the primary coil including a first group of enameled wires and a second group of enameled wires, the secondary coil including a third group of enameled wires and a fourth group of enameled wires, wherein the parts of the first group of enameled wires and the fourth group of enameled wires wound around the magnetic core are twisted together to form a first stranded wire, the parts of the second group of enameled wires and the third group of enameled wires wound around the magnetic core are twisted together to form a second stranded wire, and the first stranded wire and the second stranded wire are twisted together to form a total stranded wire.

Insulated winding wire
Insulated winding wires and associated methods for forming winding wires are described. A winding wire may include a conductor and insulation formed around the conductor. The insulation may provide a partial discharge inception voltage greater than approximately 1,000 volts and a dielectric strength greater than approximately 10,000 volts. Additionally, the insulation may be capable of withstanding a continuous operating temperature of approximately 220 C. without degradation. The insulation may include at least one base layer formed around an outer periphery of the conductor, and an extruded thermoplastic layer formed around the base layer. The extruded layer may include at least one of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) or polyaryletherketone (PAEK).

An exposed terminal for a wire conductor, and a process for preparing the exposed terminal includes executing, via a mechanical device, a mechanical ablation process to remove the insulative material from an outer surface of the plurality of square edges along a predefined length of the portion of the wire conductor. The process also includes executing, via a laser tool, a laser ablation process to remove the insulative material from the first pair of opposed faces along the predefined length of the portion of the wire conductor; and executing, via the laser tool, the laser ablation process to remove the insulative material from the second pair of opposed faces along the predefined length of the portion of the wire conductor.
Surface Treating Magnet Wire Enamel Layers To Promote Layer Adhesion
A method for forming an insulated winding wire with enhanced adhesion between enamel layers is described. A conductor may be provided, and a first enamel layer may be formed around the conductor. The first enamel layer may include a first thermoset polymeric material. An outer surface of the first enamel layer maybe modified, for example, by a plasma, corona, ultraviolet, or flame treatment. The surface modification may alter a surface energy of the first enamel layer. A second enamel layer may be formed on the first enamel layer, and the second enamel layer may include a second thermoset polymeric material.
