The present invention relates to an elongated elastic seam tape comprising an elongated elastic conductor as well as to a method of manufacturing such an elongated elastic seam tape.

A winding insulation system includes a set of insulated conductors, main wall insulation provided around the conductors, corona shield tape provided around the main wall insulation, stress grading tape provided around the corona shield tape, and sealing tape provided around the stress grading tape. A double-layer longitudinal wrapping mold is disclosed, including a base, a first longitudinal wrapping structure, a first pressing structure, a second longitudinal wrapping structure, a second pressing structure and a first necking structure. The first longitudinal wrapping structure is disposed on the base and has a first guide hole, a first outer layer wrapping hole and an inner layer wrapping hole. The first pressing structure is disposed on the base and has a first pressing hole and a second outer layer wrapping tape hole. The second longitudinal wrapping structure is disposed on the base and has a second guide hole and a third outer layer wrapping tape hole. The present application discloses a winding wire, comprising: a plurality of wires each comprising a core and a coating covering the core; and an insulation layer wrapping around the plurality of wires, wherein the plurality of wires are twisted spirally at least thirty-three times in a length of one meter, and wherein the plurality of wires twisted spirally are disposed in an X-axis direction of the insulating layer, and the insulating layer continuously wraps around the plurality of wires twisted spirally along a Y-axis direction perpendicular to the X-axis direction until a number of layers covering the plurality of wires twisted spirally is at least three.

Provided is a method of manufacturing a cable, including the following steps of: (a) providing two lateral sides of an inner layer that enclose two sides of a first conductor along a circumferential direction and an opposite direction of the circumferential direction respectively and join to each other, such that the inner layer covers an outer surface of the first conductor; and (b) providing an outer layer that continuously wraps around an outer surface of the inner layer along the circumferential direction and a length direction of the first conductor, thereby forming the cable. Bundled cables and methods for preparing bundled cable are disclosed herein. In the method, a plurality of subunits is wound about a central member. The subunits include a subunit jacket made of a first thermoplastic composition and has a first outer surface, and the central member includes a central member jacket made of a second thermoplastic composition and has a second outer surface. A metal element is provided at an interface of the second outer surface and the first outer surface of the subunits. The metal element is heated such that at least one of the first thermoplastic composition or the second thermoplastic composition forms bonds with the other of the first thermoplastic composition or the second thermoplastic composition.
