DIELECTRIC, CIRCUMFERENTIALLY CONTINUOUS, MULTILAYERED TEXTILE SLEEVE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
A multilayered textile sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members and method of construction thereof are provided. The multilayered textile sleeve includes a plurality of textile layers overlying one another to form a multilayered tubular wall extending lengthwise about a central axis between opposite open ends. The plurality of textile layers include a textile innermost layer and a textile outer layer. At least one silicone layer is sandwiched between the textile innermost layer and the textile outer layer.
Polymer-sheathed multi-filamentary strands for high temperature applications
A polymer-sheathed multi-filamentary strand for use in braided covers for wiring harnesses intended for use in challenging embodiments comprises a core of glass filaments wrapped in an aramid yarn, and sheathed in a siloxane-modified polyetherimide polymer. Shielding against electromagnetic interference may also be provided.
ARMORED CABLE AND CONNECTION FOR THE SAME
A connection arrangement is provided for connecting an armored cable to a connection piece. The arrangement has a ferrule for fitting onto the end of the armored cable, that has an abutment flange, a washer and a threaded region. The threaded region has at least a portion threaded according to a first thread standard. A lock nut is configured to fit over the armored cable, and to connect with a nut thread on the connection piece. The lock nut and the connection piece are configured to compress the ferrule therebetween forming a watertight connection. An armor of the armored cable has a least a portion of the armor threaded to match the first thread standard.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a plurality of electric wires; an exterior tube that has an internal space into which the plurality of electric wires are inserted; a first protective body that is insulative, is provided between the plurality of electric wires in the internal space of the exterior tube, and is formed with an insulating reinforced fiber; and a second protective body that is provided so as to fill a gap between an inner circumferential surface of the exterior tube and outer circumferential surfaces of the plurality of electric wires, and covers an outer circumference of the first protective body and outer circumferences of the plurality of electric wires, wherein the first protective body is shorter than the second protective body in a side view of the wire harness.
Resilient air-cooled induction heating cables
An example cable assembly includes: a plurality of conductors in a Litz cable arrangement, in which each of the plurality of conductors is electrically insulated from each other over at least a portion of a length of the Litz cable arrangement; a first layer of insulation over the Litz cable arrangement; an inner dielectric jacket over the first layer of insulation; and an outer jacket over the inner dielectric jacket.
Manufacturing method of a hoisting cable with small diameter, high strength, and high flexibility
The present disclosure discloses a hoisting cable with small diameter, high strength, and high flexibility, including an inner conductive core, an insulating layer, an outer conductive wire layer, a tensile layer, and an outer protective layer. The insulating layer is located at an outer side of the inner conductive core and provides insulation between the inner and outer conductors; the outer conductive wire layer is located at an outer side of the insulating layer; the tensile layer is located at an outer side of the outer conductive wire layer; and the outer protective layer is located at an outer side of the tensile layer. The high tensile strength can ensure the safety of hoisting operations, and the small diameter, small bend radius, and high flexibility can ensure the minimization design and the large rope capacity of a winch.
Wire harness with exterior tube, first protective body and second protective body
Bending-resistant communication cable and wire harness
A bending-resistant communication cable includes a parallel two-core shielded wire that includes a drain wire in a gap between two-core communication wires and is formed by collectively covering the two-core communication wires and the drain wire by an external conductor. Each of the drain wires in a plurality of parallel two-core shielded wire is arranged to face inside of the bending-resistant communication cable. Further, a twist pitch of the plurality of two-core shielded wires is 20 mm or more and less than 100 mm.
CABLE
A cable includes a cable core including one or more electric wires, a shield layer covering around the cable core, and a sheath covering around the shield layer. The shield layer is composed of a braided shield including a plurality of first metal wires composed of aluminum or aluminum alloy and a plurality of second metal wires composed of copper or copper alloy. The plurality of first metal wires and the plurality of second metal wires are cross-braided.
