Multi-core cable and signal transmission path
A multi-core cable includes a plurality of coaxial cables being arranged in parallel with each other, and a synthetic resin covering member that collectively covers the plurality of coaxial cables. Each coaxial cable includes a center conductor, an insulator covering an outer periphery of the center conductor, and a metal outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the insulator. The covering member holds the plurality of coaxial cables in such a manner that the plurality of coaxial cables are aligned side by side along a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the plurality of coaxial cables. At least a part of the outer conductors of the plurality of the coaxial cables respectively contacts the covering member.
CABLE WITH A TACTILE TWIST INDICATOR AND METHOD FOR TORSION-FREE LAYING OF SUCH A CABLE
A cable with a tactile twist indicator, wherein the cable has at least one core for signal transmission and a cable sheath surrounding the at least one core, wherein the cable has precisely one tactile twist indicator, which extends along a longitudinal direction of the cable over essentially the entire length of the cable sheath and which has a predetermined orientation relative to the at least one core over essentially the entire length of the cable sheath.
WIRING MEMBER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE WIRING MEMBER
An object is to provide a technique capable of easily identifying a type of a wiring member. A wiring member includes: a base member having a holding surface; and at least one wire-like transmission member held on the holding surface, wherein at least one missing wire-like transmission member identification mark indicating at least one missing wire-like transmission member position is provided on the holding surface.
Cable for Connecting System Components
Described are cables for connecting components of computing systems. The cables improve automation and resulting performance of high frequency and/or high speed signal transmissions by providing reliable transmission paths between hardware components. An example cable includes parallel conductors and a dielectric core that secures the parallel conductors along the length using parallel channels in opposite sides of the dielectric core. An alignment structure is also formed in the dielectric core, which has a shape along the length of the cable. A cable jacket surrounds the parallel conductors and the dielectric core. The cable jacket is contoured to follow the shape of the alignment structure. The dielectric core can be formed to maintain consistent separation between the parallel channels along the length of the cable to match impedance of the parallel conductors along the length of the cable, whether the cable lays flat or bends around corners.
Wiring harness assembly having multiple separated conductors embedded within a substrate
A method of manufacturing a wiring harness assembly includes the steps of forming a plurality of electrically conductive wires encased within a substrate formed of a dielectric material, forming an opening in the substrate located and sized such that a section of the plurality of electrically conductive wires is exposed within the opening, disposing a support segment within the opening, securing a connector segment including a plurality of terminals to the support segment, and placing the plurality of terminals in mechanical and electrical contact with the plurality of electrically conductive wires.

Wiring harness assembly having multiple separated conductors embedded within a substrate
A wiring harness assembly includes a plurality of electrically conductive wires encased within a substrate formed of a dielectric material, a location feature integrally formed with the substrate, and an opening defined in the substrate located within a predetermined tolerance relative to the location feature. A section of the plurality of electrically conductive wires is exposed within the opening.

At least a part of the outer conductors of the plurality of the coaxial cables respectively contacts the covering member.
Twisted pair communication cables substantially free of colorant
Twisted pair communication cables that include reduced or minimal use of colorant may include a plurality of twisted pairs of individually insulated conductors, and the respective insulation formed around each conductor may be free of colorant. Additionally, physical indicia may be selectively formed on the respective insulation of at least two of the plurality of twisted pairs, and the physical indicia may facilitate identification of the plurality of twisted pairs. A jacket may be formed around the plurality of twisted pairs.
