An electromagnetic actuating device. The device includes an electromagnetic coil including a central recess extending in an axial direction, a cylindrical pole tube inserted into the central recess and provided with a magnetic separation point, an armature situated displaceably in the pole tube, the armature being movable by an actuation of the electromagnetic coil, the armature being mounted in the pole tube in a sleeve-shaped bearing foil inserted into the pole tube, the bearing foil including an inner side facing toward the armature and used as a sliding surface and an outer side facing toward the cylindrical pole tube. It is provided that the bearing foil is coated at least on the inner side using a first layer made of perfluoroalkoxy polymer. A manufacturing method for such an electromagnetic actuating device is also described.

ELECTROMAGNETIC ACTUATING DEVICE

An electromagnetic actuating device includes a pole sleeve that extends along an axial direction and an armature situated radially inside the pole sleeve. The pole sleeve has a first axial end and a second axial end. The armature is guided inside the pole sleeve. The pole sleeve has, in a region situated between the axial ends, recesses whose contours each change along the axial direction.

A position detection apparatus includes a magnetic unit and a sensor. The magnetic unit includes a magnetic member and a retainer. The magnetic member includes a magnet and a first magnetic yoke. The magnet extends in an axial direction and has a cross-section orthogonal to the axial direction, and a first maximum outer diameter in a radial direction orthogonal to the axial direction. The cross-section has a substantially constant area in the axial direction. The first magnetic yoke is disposed adjacent to the magnet in the axial direction and has a second maximum outer diameter in the radial direction. The second maximum outer diameter is greater than the first maximum outer diameter. The retainer extends in the axial direction and retains the magnetic member. The sensor detects a magnetic field that changes in association with a movement of the magnetic unit along the axial direction.

A composite valve body is disposed at least partially around the metal insert and having at least one port in fluid communication with the fluid passage with the metal insert. A non-magnetic member, a first magnetic member and a second magnetic member are prepared. The first magnetic member and the second magnetic member are connected to the non-magnetic member. Then, a first bonding portion which bonds the non-magnetic member and the first magnetic member to each other, and a second bonding portion which bonds the non-magnetic member and the second magnetic member to each other are formed. A hot isostatic pressing process is performed to the non-magnetic member, the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member to establish diffusion-bond. Thereafter, the non-magnetic member, the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member are hollowed, and the first bonding portion and the second bonding portion are removed. Thereafter, the non-magnetic member becomes a non-magnetic body, the first magnetic member becomes a first magnetic body, the second magnetic member becomes a second magnetic body and a sleeve is obtained.
