A transformer includes: a magnetic core including a lower magnetic structure and an upper magnetic structure; a printed circuit board arranged between the lower magnetic structure and the upper magnetic structure and including a core hole through which a midsection of the magnetic core penetrates, a primary coil, a secondary coil, a primary via-hole formed at an end of the printed circuit board and electrically connected to the primary coil, and a secondary via-hole formed at another end of the printed circuit board and electrically connected to the secondary coil; a primary pin inserted into the primary via-hole; a secondary pin inserted into the secondary via-hole; an insulating block into which a portion of the printed circuit board is inserted; and a mount on which the printed circuit board and the insulating block are mounted.
Dual slotted bobbin magnetic component with two-legged core
A magnetic component for an electronic circuit includes first and second bobbins having respective core-receiving passageways. Each bobbin includes multiple slots with a winding insert in each slot. The winding inserts function as windings as well as guides for winding a coil of wire around the respective bobbins. The first and second bobbins are positioned on respective first and second legs of a magnetic core. The coils of wire are wound on the two bobbins in opposite directions such that the magnetic fluxes provided by the coils are in phase. The winding inserts have connection prongs that can be positioned in opposite direction such that the winding inserts of the first bobbin are connectable to a first printed circuit board and the winding inserts of the second bobbin are connectable to a second printed circuit board.

The present embodiment relates to a coil device. The coil device according to the present embodiment includes: first to third coils including a connecting portion; and a coil frame including an upper receiving portion for housing the first coil, a lower receiving portion for housing the second and third coils, and a cable fixing portion for fixing each connecting portion of the first to third coils.

A power supply module includes a power supply submodule, a plurality of pins, and a second winding unit. The power supply submodule includes a switch, a magnetic core assembly, and a first winding unit including a first winding portion and a second winding portion. The second winding unit includes a third winding portion connected to the first winding portion via some of the plurality of pins to form a first winding, and a fourth winding portion connected to the second winding portion via some of the plurality of pins to form a second winding. The magnetic core assembly, at least the first winding, and the second winding form a magnetic element. The switch is disposed on and electrically connected to the magnetic element. At least one of the plurality of pins is an output pin via which the power supply module powers an intelligent IC load.

Disclosed herein is a coil component that includes first and second substrates, a first coil pattern formed on one surface of the first substrate, a second coil pattern formed on one surface of the second substrate, a first terminal electrode connected to one end of the first coil pattern and protruding from the first substrate, and a second terminal electrode connected to one end of the second coil pattern and protruding from the second substrate. The first and second substrates are laminated such that the first and second terminal electrodes overlap each other and are connected to each other.
Compliant pin structure for discrete electrical components
A discrete electrical component is disclosed, including a component member having at least one lead; and a base member on which the component member is supported. The electrical component further includes at least one compliant pin member, each compliant pin member having a first end portion configured for press-fit engagement in a printed circuit board and a second end portion electrically connected to the at least one lead of the component member. The at least one compliant pin at least partly extends through or into the base member.
SLIM-TYPE MAGNETIC COMPONENT
Disclosed is a magnetic component. The magnetic component of the disclosure includes a core unit including an upper core and a lower core, a bobbin unit having at least a portion disposed inside the core unit, and a coil unit including primary coils and secondary coils wound around the bobbin unit in a second direction, which is perpendicular to a first direction oriented from the upper core toward the lower core. The bobbin unit includes a first terminal accommodation portion and a second terminal accommodation portion. The first terminal accommodation portion accommodates first terminal pins, connected to at least some of the secondary coils in the second direction and having end portions bent in the first direction. The second terminal accommodation portion accommodates second terminal pins, connected to the remaining ones of the secondary coils in the second direction and having end portions bent in the first direction.
Adapter and transformer thereof
An adapter is provided and having a circuit board, primary components and secondary components installed on the circuit board, a shielding plate disposed between the primary components and the secondary components, and a transformer installed on the circuit board. The transformer has a bobbin, an iron core set assembled with the bobbin, at least one movable pin, at least one first winding, and at least one second winding. The movable pin is able to be positioned at an upper position for allowing the iron core set to be assembled with the bobbin or for allowing the first winding and the second winding to be wound onto the winding portion, and the movable pin is able to be positioned at a lower position when the transformer is installed onto the circuit board. Thereby, the adapter can be assembled in an automated process with improved assembly efficiency and high production yields.

This application provides a magnetic element, a power supply, and an electronic device. The magnetic element includes a magnetic core, a coil, and a skeleton, an accommodation space is provided in the magnetic core, and the coil is located in the accommodation space. Surfaces of the magnetic core include a first end face, a second end face, and a side surface connecting the first end face and the second end face. The skeleton is disposed on the side surface and is fixedly connected to the magnetic core. The first end face is flush with or protrudes from one end of the skeleton, and the second end face is flush with or protrudes from the other end of the skeleton.
Current Transformer with Test Wire
A current transformer includes a housing including generally cylindrical outer and inner walls defining an internal chamber, a front face enclosing one end of the internal chamber, a base, and a central opening defined by the inner wall. A generally toroidal current transformer core is disposed within the internal chamber. A secondary wiring is disposed about the transformer core and is configured to generate a current in response to magnetic flux in the transformer core. A pin housing is disposed on the front face of the housing adjacent the base. The pin housing has electrically conductive pins. A test wire passes through the central opening. The secondary wiring is electrically connected to a first pair of the pins and the test wire is electrically connected to a second pair of the pins.
