Electrical pushbutton snap switch

An electrical snap on switch includes a pair of associated contact elements, the contact elements include a fixed contact element and a movable contact element arranged facing the fixed contact element and that may come into contact with the fixed contact element for establishing a first conductive path. The snap on switch may also include a snap-action switching device that includes a tilting driving member pivotally mounted around a horizontal axis between an upper position and a lower position. The movable contact element is a movable portion of an elastically deformable conductive blade. The driving member includes a cam, which cooperates with a cam follower portion of the blade to deform or relax the blade, to cause the movable contact to come into contact, or out of contact, with the fixed contact element, therefore to realize switching.

Enabling switch

When an initial position of an enabling switch is given as a first position (301), a position of the enabling switch in which a movable member is most pressed is given as a third position (303), and a rising start position of a maximum rise of a load is given as a second position (302), the rising start position being between the first position (301) and the third position (303), a minor peak (341) of the load appears between the first position (301) and the second position (302). An ON switching position (311) is between a falling start position (323) of the minor peak (341) and the second position (302). A maximum load during the minor peak (341) is greater than or equal to the load in the ON switching position (311) and less than or equal to the load in an OFF switching position (312).

PUSH SWITCH

A push switch includes a housing; a fixed contact member, including a fixed contact, placed inside the housing; a movable contact member, including a movable portion, placed inside the housing; a slider, which moves in a vertical direction, placed above the fixed contact member and the movable contact member; and an elastic member, having a restoring force in a direction in which the slider separates from the housing, placed between the housing and the slider. A movable member is placed between the housing and the slider and is in contact with a part of the slider and is movable as the slider moves. As the slider is pushed toward the housing, the movable member in contact with the slider moves, whereby the fixed contact and the movable portion are separated from each other, or the fixed contact and the movable portion are brought into contact with each other.

A snap-action switching element with normally closed contact comprises includes a contact arm movable between a rest position and a switching position, and an actuating member with which the contact arm can be moved between these positions. A rocker switch is arranged at one end so as to be rotatable and a tension spring is suspended at the other end of the rocker switch on a spring suspension section. The actuating member has a rocker bearing opening which is provided transversely to its direction of movement and into which engages a rocker bearing actuating section provided transversely to a main plane of the switching rocker. In the case of a normally open contact, the first contact point is then arranged at a distance.

SWITCH DEVICE

A switch device includes a housing, an operating body that is held by the housing and is pushed into the housing by a push operation, an operating body-side guide portion protruding from a lower surface of the operating body, a housing-side guide portion that protrudes from a bottom surface of the interior of the housing and, together with the operating body-side guide portion, guides movement of the operating body based on the push operation, and an elastic body that is provided between the operating body and the housing on the outer side of the operating body-side guide portion and the housing-side guide portion and applies an elastic force to the housing and the operating body.

Mechanical switch structure

A mechanical switch structure includes a keycap, a base plate formed with a guiding opening, a scissor unit disposed on the base plate, and a receiving housing. The receiving housing has a first accommodation and a second accommodation. A guiding unit is received in the first accommodation along a pressing direction of the keycap, and is formed with a hillside portion. A first elastic element provides the guiding unit with an elastic force. A resistance module has an abutting unit which is abutted against the hillside portion of the guiding unit, and a second elastic unit to provide the abutting unit with an elastic force toward the guiding unit. The hillside portion is undulate-shaped and faces the guiding unit. The abutting unit is abutted against the hillside portion so as to provide different resistances during a pressing stroke of the keycap.

A push switch of a push-operating type includes a locking mechanism, has a thin and small size with a simple structure ensuring a reliable operation and allowing a coil spring to be easily installed. A release-holding part with which a second end, serving as another end of a stopper, is engaged to hold an operating body at a released position is provided in a cam groove located at a rear portion of a locking cam portion to provide a gap with a predetermined interval between the operating body and a restriction part of the case in forward and rearward directions, when the operating body is located at the released position. Thus, a space in an accommodation part is expanded in the forward and rearward directions when the push switch is manufactured, the coil spring is prevented from being disengage from the accommodation part, and therefore, is installed stably. Therefore, a thin and small sized push switch in which operation thereof is ensured and a coil spring is easily installed can be provided.
