Electric Drive and Emergency Stop Switch for Boats
20180001987 · 2018-01-04 · ·

A boat having an electric motor coupled with an electrical store is disclosed. The electrical store includes a storage element, and positive and negative poles in current-conducting connection with the storage element. An isolating circuit element is operatively connected to a user activatable emergency stop switch. The isolating circuit element is configured to, upon activation of the emergency stop switch, isolate the current-conducting connection between the storage element and at least one of the poles.

SAFETY SWITCH WITH FOOL-PROOF FUNCTION AND TOASTER
20230067398 · 2023-03-02 ·

A safety switch with fool-proof function and a toaster with the same are provided. The switch includes two pairs of first contacts connected to a live wire, a pair of second contacts connected to a zero line, and a trigger structure. The two pairs of first: contacts are connected in series in a power circuit. A trigger gap is formed between the first contacts and the second contacts. The trigger structure is movable up and down to drive a pressing part out of and into the trigger gap. When the pressing part enters the trigger gap, the two pairs of first contacts are electrically connected respectively. Thus, the power circuit can be effectively turned off through the switch, thereby improving the safety performance. Moreover, the switch adopts a mechanical contact structure, which is not affected by high temperature and other electromagnetic interference signals, and has high safety.

Five-position switch

Multiple position switches and specifically in-line multiple position switches where a user has definitive points of on and off switching which are used to turn multiple redundant internal circuit switches on and off. This can provide for increased reliability of switch operation. The multi-position switch is typically a five-position switch with all five positions in-line and with double or triple redundancy at each position.

Button Structure

A button structure comprises a base layer, a supporting structure arranged on the base layer, an elastic film layer, the elastic film layer covering the support structure and connected to the support structure, the support structure and the elastic film layer defining a cavity above the base layer, a first upper electrode arranged on the lower surface of the elastic film layer and located in the cavity, a first lower electrode, arranged on the base layer and located in the cavity, and a first variable resistance elastic body between the first upper and first lower electrodes, either arranged on the lower surface of the first upper electrode or arranged on the upper surface of the first lower electrode. When the elastic film layer is elastically deformed in the direction of the base layer, the first variable resistance elastic body connects the first upper electrode with the first lower electrode so as to generate a first signal related to the elastic deformation of the first variable resistance elastic body.

Current distributor and protection system for a vehicle
10951022 · 2021-03-16 · ·

A current distributor for a vehicle, having an input and a plurality of load channels which connect the input to a connected load via a safety fuse and a line in each case, and to a protection system for a vehicle having such a current distributor. In this case, a standby channel connects the input to the connected loads via an electronic fuse, wherein an evaluation and control unit checks the safety fuses for functionality and switches on a semiconductor switch of the electronic fuse and forms a redundant current path between the input and the connected loads via the standby channel if at least one of the safety fuses is identified as having been tripped.

Diagnosis device, energy storage apparatus, and diagnosis method

A diagnosis device diagnoses current cutoff devices connected in parallel and disposed on an energization path to an energy storage device mounted on a vehicle. The diagnosis device performs switch processing of switching one of the current cutoff devices to be diagnosed from an opened state to a closed state or from the closed state to the opened state and closing the other current cutoff device while an engine of the vehicle is stopped. The diagnosis device detects end-to-end voltage of the current cutoff device when current larger than a threshold flows through the current cutoff device after the switch processing, and diagnoses the current cutoff device based on the detected end-to-end voltage.

Relay

A relay is disclosed. In an embodiment a relay includes a first switching contact having a first main contact, a second main contact and a first movable contact; a second switching contact having a third main contact, a fourth main contact and a second movable contact, wherein the second switching contact is electrically isolated from the first switching contact; and an actuator configured to move both the first and second movable contacts from a first switching state into a second switching state by moving a drive element of the actuator from a first position into a second position.

Multi-access control and multi-relay systems and methods

A multi-relay including a first relay switch operable over a first current range; a second relay switch operable over a second current range; and a current sensor configured to: detect an input current; in response to the input current being within the first current range, activate the first relay switch; and in response to the input current being within the second current range, activate the second relay switch.
