PROTECTIVE COLLAR FOR ACUTATING ELEMENTS, IN PARTICULAR SWITCHES
The invention relates to a protective collar for at least partially receiving an actuating element which extends through a housing of a control unit and projects beyond an outer side of the housing. The protective collar has a base with a through-opening and a first circumferential collar radially spaced from the through-opening and extending from an upper surface of the base in a first direction. The first collar has at least two cut-outs such that the first collar forms at least two wings, wherein at least one of the wings has at least one predetermined breaking point extending in the circumferential direction.
Manual call point
A manual call point for a fire alarm system, the manual call point includes: an operating element 18, wherein a physical movement of the operating element 18 will trigger an alarm condition of the manual call point; at least two switch devices 12, 14, 16. Each switch device 12, 14, 16 is arranged to complete or break a circuit in response to the physical movement of the operating element 18. At least one of the switch devices 12, 14, 16 is a contactless device 12, 14 and the corresponding circuit includes an electromagnetic circuit that is completed or broken without mechanical contact from the operating element 18.

Method and system for an omnidirectional pull-cord sensor assembly
The disclosure is directed at a method and system for a pull-cord sensor assembly that includes an activation portion including a magnet portion for generating a magnetic field; a sensor portion for sensing a level of the magnetic field level; a comparator for comparing the level of the magnetic field with a threshold value; and a pull cord integrated with the activation portion.
Building device having an address programming interface
A building device with a front accessible address programming interface is provided. The building device includes a mounting base having front and rear surfaces. The front surface defines two connector channels extending towards the rear surface. The connector channels are spaced apart and sized to each receive a respective prong of a programming device connector plug. The building device further includes external terminals disposed on the rear surface, internal terminals, a group of normally closed switches having a common control input, and an actuator. Each switch connects an external terminal to a respective internal terminal when the common control input is deactivated to provide a network connection. The actuator is connected to the common control input and disposed such that the connector plug engages the actuator to activate the common control input of the switches when each of the connector channels receive a respective prong of the connector plug.

Push plate of manual alarm device
A manual alarm device including a housing and a displacement element mounted in the housing is provided. The displacement element is moveable between a first position and a second position. Only application of a stable force to the displacement element is configured to move the displaceable element between the first position and the second position.
Holding device for receiving switching elements for a command and alert device
A holding device for receiving switching elements for a command and alert device, with a first housing portion in which a recess for receiving an actuator of a command and alert device is arranged, and with a second housing portion arranged on the first housing portion and which continues the recess of the first housing portion, where guide rails for guiding transmission elements are formed in the housing portions, and where the transmission elements transmit an actuation of the actuator to a switching element.
