CASING REPLACEABLE FUSE ASSEMBLY
A fuse assembly includes a casing having two slots defined through the first end thereof, and a conductive member is located in the casing and has a first end extending through the second end of the casing. The conductive member includes two blades with a fuse connected therebetween. A cap is detachably mounted to the first end of the casing and has a light member connected thereto. The light member has a leg portion which is electrically connected to a second end of the conductive member. When the fuse is burned off, the light member lights on, the cap is removed from the casing, and is detachably connected to a new casing with a functional fuse therein.
Power circuit interrupting device
A power circuit interrupting device including a first housing including a pair of fixed electrodes and a fuse having terminals at both ends thereof, and a second housing including a moveable electrode, the moveable electrode interrupting electrical connection between the fixed electrodes when the second housing is uncoupled from the first housing, and establishing the electrical connection between the fixed electrodes when the second housing is coupled with the first housing. The first housing has an opening provided for carrying out a continuity test for the fuse. The opening is always covered with the second housing in a condition that continuity of a circuit is allowed. The power circuit interrupting device serves to facilitate the continuity test for the fuse built therein and comply with such a maintenance procedure that the continuity test should be carried out after interrupting continuity of the power circuit.
Fusible Link, Circuit Arrangement and Motor Vehicle Comprising Said Circuit Arrangement
Melting fuse with a melting wire arranged between a first and a second terminal, characterized in that a connecting pin is arranged on each of the first and second terminals, a printed circuit board is placed on the connection pin, and at least one integrated circuit is arranged on the printed circuit board on the side facing away from the melting wire.
SUBSTRATE SURFACE-MOUNTED FUSE
The present invention provides a substrate surface-mounted fuse that uses a replacement fuse to enable an electric circuit to be electrically connected simply and immediately even when a fuse part melts.
A substrate surface-mounted fuse 100 mounted on the surface of a substrate 300 comprises: a housing 110; a fuse part 120 that is disposed in the housing 110; and a terminal part 130 that is coupled to both ends of the fuse part 120 and exposed to the outside of the housing 110, wherein a portion of the terminal part 130 is provided with a fixed section 134 for fixing to the surface of the substrate 300 and is provided with an attachment part 140 enabling attachment of a terminal part 230 of a replacement fuse 200.
A SIGNALING DEVICE, AN ELECTRICAL FUSE APPARATUS AND A DEVICE COMPRISING THE ELECTRICAL FUSE APPARATUS
A signaling device adapted to be electrically coupled to an electric potential applied to terminals of a fuse element or to clips of a fuse holder. The signaling device is adapted to signal to the outside at least one property of the fuse element. In addition, the signaling device includes at least one transmission layer having an electrically controllable transmission factor.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING SEALED AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICAL FUSE BOX
A fuse assembly including a fuse connected to two busbars, an injection molded base and an injection molded cover. The busbars are powder-coating with a powder-based adhesive or adhesion promoter, then cured in an oven. The busbars are then placed in the cavity image of an injection molding apparatus. Plastic is heated to a liquid form and injected into the cavity image. The resulting injection molded base is resistant to both dust and water, protecting the fuse inside.
Power distribution unit, such as a fuse box for a vehicle
The invention relates to a power distribution unit (1), such as a fuse box for a vehicle, for providing a protected electrical connection between a power supply cable and a plurality of distribution cables (7). The unit comprises a housing (2) and, received in said housing: —a bus bar (5) configured to be connected to the power supply cable; —a plurality of fuses (10), each fuse comprising a body (15), a first end portion (11) configured to be connected to the bus bar (5), and a second end portion (12) configured to be connected to a distribution cable (7); —at least one retainer (20) for maintaining the bus bar (5) in position with respect to the housing (2); —at least one positioner (40) for positioning the fuse first end portion (11) relative to the bus bar (5) along directions (X, Y) substantially parallel to the bus bar; —a biasing member (30) configured to urge the fuse first end portion (11) towards the bus bar (5), to cause the fuse first end portion to remain in contact with the bus bar.
