Electrical power supply disconnector for a protection module and protection module including such a disconnector

An electrical power supply disconnector for establishing or severing the connection between current conductors and a power supply circuit. The electrical power supply disconnector includes a housing including a central passage, the walls of which bear contact strips that are located facing one another along a contact axis, and a slider sliding through the central passage in the direction of a centre axis, and bearing at least a first electrically conductive bar, oriented along the contact axis, for electrically connecting at least one first low contact strip and one high contact strip when the slider is in a first position. A protection module including such a power supply disconnector.

Push switch

A push switch includes a stationary contact and a movable contact. The stationary contact includes a base material and a conductive layer that covers the base material. The movable contact is disposed opposite a contact surface of the stationary contact. The movable contact is movable between a first position where the movable contact is in contact with the contact surface and a second position where the movable contact is apart from the contact surface. The stationary contact has a groove that divides the contact surface into a plurality of areas. Connection surfaces connect respective opening edges of the groove with a bottom of the groove. Each of the connection surfaces has a slope that is inclined at acute angle relative to the contact surface.

A push switch includes: a case that has a depression that opens in a first direction, and an enlarging depression that is adjacent to the depression; a movable component disposed in the depression; a first stationary contact that is provided on a bottom surface of the depression, the first stationary contact is located in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction from the movable component; and a second stationary contact exposed at the bottom surface of the depression. When the movable component is deformed, the movable component comes into contact with the first stationary contact. The second stationary contact has a contact portion with which the movable component is in contact. The enlarging depression is more apart from a center of the case than the depression is apart from the center of the case when viewed in the first direction. The depression and the enlarging depression are integrally made. The enlarging depression is adjacent to the contact portion.

Electric switch

An electric switch for electrical devices that includes a circuit board immovably arranged in a switch housing, the circuit board includes on one of its surfaces the contact paths of a contact system as well as contact surfaces in the form of potentiometer tracks. The contact paths interact with sliding contacts of the contact system and the potentiometer tracks interact with additional sliding contacts in order to set the revolutions per minute or the torque of the electric motor, movement of the plunger causes the sliding contacts of the contact system to come into contact with the associated contact paths, and, in this position of the plunger, which is the on position of the switch, the sliding contacts used for changing the direction of rotation are in the same way already in contact with the associated potentiometer tracks on the circuit board.

A circuit interrupter having at least two sets of contacts that are electrically connected in series such that when the at least two sets of contacts are opened, they are opened simultaneously. This functions to increase the distance between the sets of contacts as the distance is additive for the series connected sets of contacts, which increases the arc voltage for breaking any arc that may form between the individual sets of contacts more effectively.

A switch assembly and method of operation comprises a housing having top and bottom ends spaced about a longitudinal axis and a selectively movable knob coupled to a plunger arrangement having a shaft that extends from inside the housing to couple to the knob. The switch assembly also comprises a printed circuit board having at least one wiper for engaging a contact extending from the plunger arrangement. A step shaft projects from the shaft of the plunger arrangement such that when a maintained mode of operation is desired by the switch assembly, the step shaft engages a retaining assembly formed by a portion of the housing, and when a momentary mode of operation is desired by the switch assembly the step shaft is positioned such that is free from engaging the retaining assembly.
