Control element
A control element for roof or window adjustment in a motor vehicle includes a surface and a sensor. The surface has an introduced recess and a surface portion. The surface portion is connected to the surface in a gap-free manner above the recess. The surface portion only partially covers the recess. The sensor is formed within the surface portion or is arranged onto the bottom side thereof to detect deformations of the surface portion.
Switch device
An operation element is disposed in a recess provided in a lower surface of a controller attached to a vehicle ceiling part, and the operation element comprises an inclined portion inclined at an upward gradient from a vehicle front toward a vehicle rear, a protruding portion formed by the inclined portion, and provided on a vehicle front side of a point, on the operation element, that has an equal distance from opposite ends of the operation element in a front-back direction, and an operating rotary shaft disposed on a side of the protruding portion.

PANEL ASSEMBLY SWITCH HAVING A SENSING ELEMENT
One general aspect includes a device control switch for a panel assembly, including: a switch base mounted to the panel assembly; a switch button, tiltably mounted to the switch base, the switch button configured to tilt away from a default position relative to a horizontal axis, the switch button including a nib; a flexibend sensor fixed to a portion of the switch base, the flexibend sensor in substantial contact with the nib via spring force; and where slight tilting of the switch button away from the default position will cause the flexibend sensor to deflect and remain in substantial contact with the nib as the nib moves with the switch button relative to the horizontal axis.

Rocker switch element for motor vehicles with protection against unwanted actuation
A rocker switching control element for electrical sliding roofs on a vehicle overhead panel has an actuation rocker formed as a switch with switching positions and is arranged on a substantially planar control panel. The actuation rocker is recessed such that it does not project beyond the panel edge region. The transition between the panel edge region and the actuation rocker is formed with the panel edge region forming over a first width a goblet-like edge set back by a first depth, and an adjoining edge, separated by a gap of width, of the actuation rocker, which edge is recessed by more than the first depth in the non-actuated state and set further back continuously over a second width by a second depth. The recess is shaped overall such that inadvertent actuation of the actuation rocker by an object significantly larger than a human finger is prevented.
Switch mechanism for a vehicle interior component
A switch mechanism for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The switch mechanism may comprise a slide within a carrier, at least one pin movable within the slide to center the slide in the carrier and a spring to move the pin within the slide. The pin may comprise a protrusion movable against the slide to guide pin movement. The slide may comprise a rib; the protrusion may slide against the rib to guide pin movement. The rib may comprise two ribs; the protrusion may move between the two ribs. The spring may be contained within an opening in the slide; the rib may extend beyond the opening. The pin may comprise first and second guides to slide along first and second slide walls to guide pin movement. The vehicle interior component may be at least one of a console, an overhead console, a vehicle system actuator, a sunroof actuator.
