Door handle coupler

A coupler between an activator mounted on an enclosure and an electronic protection device located within the enclosure facilitates alignment between the coupler and the electronic protection device during installation and requires no tool for installation. The coupler is positioned over an opening in the electronic protection device and oriented such that a first coupling portion is configured to engage a complementary coupling portion on the electronic protection device. The coupler may be manually mounted, engaging the complementary coupling portions on the door handle coupler and the electronic protection device without requiring a tool for installation. The coupler includes an upper sleeve configured to receive an axle, connected to the activator, that rotates independently of a lower sleeve which is mounted to the electronic protection device, facilitating orientation of the activator on the outside of the enclosure. The coupler provides for local lock-out of the electronic protection device.

DEVICE COMPRISING A TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY HAVING AN OVERRIDE CLUTCH WITH A FREEWHEELING MEMBER
20170343089 · 2017-11-30 ·

A device includes a transmission assembly having a first override clutch. The first override clutch is used especially for transmitting a torque between a first coupling partner and a second coupling partner. The first override clutch engages and disengages in accordance with a change in the load flow between the coupling partners. A freewheeling member which is associated with the first override clutch neutralizes the engagement between the coupling partners. The neutralization is, in particular, temporary.

Automatic transfer switch and method thereof

A system and method for an automatic transfer switch comprising a fixed contact, a first oscillating rod communicatively and operatively connected to a first movable contact, a second oscillating rod communicatively and operatively connected to a second movable contact, a link rod communicatively and operable connected to the first and second oscillating rods, and a guide plate. The automatic transfer switch is operable to position the guide plate based at least on a state of a solenoid. A permanent magnetic actuator communicatively and operatively connected to the link rod via a third oscillating rod is operable to rotate the first oscillating rod or the second oscillating rod based at least on the position of the guide plate.

Electric Switch, In Particular for High Voltages and/or High Currents
20170229267 · 2017-08-10 ·

An electrical switch, in particular for high voltages and/or high currents, includes a contact unit which includes at least two contact, a switching element and a drive for the switching element. The drive is designed such that it can move the switching element from an initial position into an end position. The switching element is accelerated during an acceleration phase directly or indirectly by the drive and it passes subsequently through a free movement phase until it has reached the end position.

Electromechanical switch with manual switching option

A mechanical switch (10), in particular a light switch and/or a roller shutter switch and/or thermostat switch is provided. The mechanical switch (10) has a switching contact assembly (20), in particular a monostable, bistable or tristable switching contact assembly (20), and a base carrier (40), in which the switching contact assembly (20) is received The base carrier (40) has a holding device (50) for receiving an electromechanical actuator unit (100), which is designed in such a way that an electromechanical actuator unit (100) received in the holding device (50) can be supplied with voltage for effecting a state change of the switching contact assembly (20) independently of an external mechanical action on an operating mechanism by means of the electromechanical actuator unit (100).
