Wound-type battery

A wound-type battery includes a wound electrode group having a first electrode and a second electrode with polarity opposite to the first electrode, an electrolyte, a battery case, a sealing plate that seals an opening of the battery case, an insulating plate that is disposed between the electrode group and the sealing plate and that has a hole, and a first tab that passes through the hole to electrically connect the first electrode and the sealing plate to each other. At least a part of a region of the first tab that extends through the hole to a sealing plate side is covered with a tab tape on a side facing the insulating plate. The tab tape includes at least a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer on a side opposite the first adhesive layer and is in contact with the first tab through the first adhesive layer.

WOUND-TYPE BATTERY

A wound-type battery includes a wound electrode group having a first electrode and a second electrode with polarity opposite to the first electrode, an electrolyte, a battery case, a sealing plate that seals an opening of the battery case, an insulating plate that is disposed between the electrode group and the sealing plate and that has a hole, and a first tab that passes through the hole to electrically connect the first electrode and the sealing plate to each other. At least a part of a region of the first tab that extends through the hole to a sealing plate side is covered with a tab tape on a side facing the insulating plate. The tab tape includes at least a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer on a side opposite the first adhesive layer and is in contact with the first tab through the first adhesive layer.

Energy storage device, winding apparatus, and winding method

An energy storage device includes: a core; and a wound body including, layered and wound around the core: a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and two separators, one of which is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and each having a first surface and a second surface. The first surface has thermal bonding properties superior to thermal bonding properties of the second surface, and at least one of the two separators is bonded to the core via the first surface thereof.

The packaging bag is configured to accommodate at least a part of the electrode assembly. The first connecting layer is pasted to the first bending portion and to a part of an outer surface of the flat portion.

An outermost current collector of the electrode assembly includes a first bending portion, a second bending portion opposite to the first bending portion and a flat portion connected between the first bending portion and the second bending portion. The adhesive layer is pasted to a surface of the flat portion facing toward a winding center of the electrode assembly. The packaging, bag is configured to accommodate at least a part of the electrode assembly. The first connecting layer is pasted to the first bending portion and to a part of an outer surface of the flat portion. A projection of the second connecting, layer and a projection of the adhesive layer in a direction perpendicular to an outer surface of the flat portion have an overlapping zone.
